Leaving murray on wad woeful best/toner have to take responsibility for line out. I'd neatly say kearney wad half decent but we need more at this level. Do you actually think Johnny Sexton would swap any of his three Heineken Cups or two Six Nations Championships for being part of that over-hyped shitshow in Australia three years ago??[/quote]
You forgot to mention his Amlin Cup medal

Re: Toner signs central contract for 3 years
none of us want to see players get wrecked and we're all Leinster fans before Lions Actually, I have far stronger memories of watching the 1983 Lions and the 9 Irish lads selected for that tour and the 1989 tour to Australia, than I do of any Leinster team prior to about 1995. So for me the pecking...

Re: Philip Browne issues warning to the provinces
The Used Car Salesmen have had two write downs on their loans one in 2014 [€11.7m] & one from BOI in 2016 [€10m]. Not to mention the financial assistance they received from UFEA in 2013. And as recently as last year the Chief Used Car Salesman had to abandoned his 'debt free by 2020' prediction....

Re: Message to Curates_egg and to all of you.
 Well said Sir. Having been over to Northampton in Dec'13 it is no Paris, but it is a cracking rugby town. Over the past 15 seasons I, like many posters on this site have visited English towns for European Cup games and have enjoyed every trip regardless of the result. The comradery between sp...

Re: Scrap the Lions?
So what's the alternative, rest the players for the summer of the Lions tour so they'll be fighting fit to take on the Dragons, Zebre & Cardiff when the Pro12 resumes in front of 9,000 at the RDS or half that when we play away from home?

Correction Pape went down like a soccer player - sorry ladies Do guys that size really go down from a dig in the guts? Having received a fair few sly digs in my days, I can tell you it's not always the force that floors you, but the location of and readiness for the punch. Having read some of you'r...

Re: BOI renew sponsorship deal for €6m over 5 years
Increased back up to pre-'crash' levels Looks like a very significant deal for Leinster, considering that less than 12 months ago Dublin GAA signed a deal with AIG for €4M over 5 years or €800k p/a http://www.independent.ie/sport/gaelic-games/gaelic-football/dublins-4m-aig-sponsorship-boost-2964543...

Re: Thank you Isa
I remember when he spoke at a meet the players evening in Old Belvo in Oct’08 shortly after he arrived in Leinster. He spoke about how he appreciated the culture of playing for the big town club, [Auckland / Leinster], whom everyone else in the country dislikes, affectionately known as JAFA’s in New...

Sky to cover Rabo??
From The Breakdown mail from The Guardian While I think it would be a great move to get Sky involved with our league, as they would no doubt promote and market it positively, similar to the way they have transformed H Cup coverage, rather than the snide, ill-informed and begrudging coverage we curre...

Re: Kit sponsor
Puma to end Ireland deal early Puma have prematurely cancelled Irish rugby's five-year kit deal. The German sportswear brand took the decision in December, four seasons into a lucrative multi-million euro contract. This will be officially confirmed after this afternoon's IRFU committee meeting and m...

I recorded European Rugby Special last night and I just double checked now and they had same graphic as I saw at the end of the Ospres v Tigers game: Friday Biarritz v Harlequins 1930 Sky Sports 2 Connacht v Zebre (Red Button) Saturday Castres v Ulster 1300 Sky Sports 3 Glasgow v Saints (Red Button...

Re: Leinster v Exeter
The boys on Sky when wrapping up their coverage said that they would be based in Sandy Park on Saturday so they will have it as the main match. Munster v Racing game is on the Red Button on Sunday lunchtime - well thats what they put up on the graphic yesterday evening. Contradicted by this entirel...

Re: Leinster v Exeter
I see Sky are showing the worthless Scarlets Clermont game ahead of the important Exeter Leinster game. We seem to be on the red button - which I dont have. Will this change when they look at the games? Fyi its listed today as the main game on sky sports 3 The boys on Sky when wrapping up their cov...

I'm down in Carton for the night with the Current Mrs Mauler & sprog#1 & I went down to look at our National team train earlier. Drico was taking a full part as was Super Rob with the girls of the backs. Cronin & Strauss both trained too. It was just a light semi unopposed but greet to s...
