This is precisely the behaviour that Haughey indulged in 30 years ago which lost him the backing of 'the plain people of Ireland' and ultimately the only role he ever wanted.
Appalled and pissed off, everybody associated with organising and attending that function should be named and shamed.
Every Sports Club of every code would love to hold a golf fundraiser and for some it might be purely for their survival. That the clowns who actually dare to do it are a Society made up of our legislators and their friends and associates beggars belief.
Name each one with accompanying photographs and let them each suffer the ridicule they deserve.

Re: Corona Virus
If someone thinks that they have CV19 follow the prescribed isolation period, is there a readily available test/tests to tell you've had the CV and are no longer infectious. I heard the UK Government's Chief Medical Adviser Prof Chris Whitty say on Monday on a live TV broadcast, that as well as fas...

To be brutally honest I don't think we will see any competitive Rugby (or any other sporting events) happening until September at the earliest.

Re: Champions Cup 2020 - Standings\predictions
While Cardiff may be in the "Home" country politically, it is not from a Rugby perspective. The opposite of 2/3 of Ulster. Munster played Biarritz in San Sebastian, Spain in 2005 and 2010. Saracens played Racing Metro 92 in Brussels in 2012. I know European Rugby wanted to widen the appeal of top c...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens
I wonder that, if and when Saracens do get in a position to be promoted back to the top flight that PR and the other Club Chairmen will insist on a full forensic audit of their books, not only for that season, but for the seasons that they were in breach of the Salary Cap rules, and any non-complian...

Or Cardiff? M5/M4 for those by car or bus. Direct/one easy change(Taunton, Bristol Temple Meads/Parkway) trains from/to Exeter. Nearer and easier to get to than Twickers.johng wrote:Too small I would guess.
They have to add temp seating to Sandy park just to host the QF

Re: Champions Cup 2020 - Standings\predictions
Saints are playing Exeter. Toulouse are at home to Ulster. The winners meet in the semi. Probably somewhere like Plymouth or Southampton. We would be at home to Clermont or Racing. There is a dearth of big Stadia in the West Country. Ashton Gate in Bristol would be my bet. Argyle's ground is too sm...

Re: Champions Cup 2020 - Standings\predictions
My predictions after this weekend. 1 Leinster, 2 Exeter, 3 Toulouse, 4 Clermont, 5 Racing, ---------------------- 6 Ulster, 7 Saracens, 8 Northampton Which means we will probably meet the saints again...at home! In that scenario, if we win our QF we'd play winner of ASM/Racing at home right? Or is ...
