Re: BOD may miss tour
If he flies out late then that's fine - give him some time - but to miss the whole tour - what would that say about him? What he should do is take the time he needs to get over it - and then go out on the pitch - where he does his talking and play his heart out for his former friend. Well said. By ...

Re: Sports Quiz, Man Utd Question

No idea how long it went on for, but quite a while. I'd guess  at Jahangir Khan's 555 consecutive win...

Re: BOD may miss tour
it doesnt say anything about him uncle mort - people deal with things in different ways, and i dont think you are in a position to judge him no matter waht he decides to do. Anyone is entitled to a view on anythng. I hope that he decides to go on the tour - albeit late. At the end of the day he is ...

Re: BOD may miss tour
I was thinking about this and he may yet opt to fly out with Murphy and Reddan after the GP final If he flies out late then that's fine - give him some time - but to miss the whole tour - what would that say about him? What he should do is take the time he needs to get over it - and then go out on ...

Re: who needs a kidney when you have skill
I think that DK has what EOS didn't have - a cute edge and luck. I don't like the man but I think his results will knock EOS's into the shade. I wonder what his mother is like for I shall miss Eddie's mother . Do you mean AussieDub??? I think that may have been one the aliases that his mother used....

Re: Most fatal crashes on normal roads
Pardon my oversensitivity on behalf of the Tree People, but they were there before our roads were. I hope you're not suggesting that, because of our overblown sense of self importance, we should remove trees simply because we can. We drivers could use a bit of a sense of humility sometimes. Of cour...

Re: Le Pick and go
When Argentina used boring defensive tactics during the RWC (despite having potentially the best attacked 9, 10, 12 combo in the tournament) people here were tripping over themselves to say how fantastically well they had done. As for pick and go - it's not the tactic that destroying rugby - it's h...

Re: Most fatal crashes on normal roads
So when you drive home tonight take a note of all the bends and look at all the trees on the crown of the bend and think that if you lost control you would have to hit the tree and you would be killed - yet if these trees were removed chances are you'd run through a hedge or a wall and survive. Par...

Separated at Birth
I was listening to the radio this weekend and I heard a voice from the past and it set me thinking that the following two must have been separated at birth: Scottish mother of five and former international middle distance athelete Liz McColgan http://tbn0.google.com/images?q=tbn:hj-23A-slNmqlM:http:...

Having met the man on a number of occasions I can only say that he's a true gent and one of the more knowledgeable commentators on the game. If pre 2004 he called it England's way then he was correct - England should have won - since then he's adopted the other stance - not volte face on his part b...
