Later this week. Can't be more specific than that I'm afraid!

Re: European Opponent Watch

One of the reasons that Wasps put in the performance they did over the weekend was it was their last game at Adams Park. That meant a lot more to some of the players than others, but they wanted to sign off with a bang. Similarly, when they have their first European game in Coventry, they're going ...

Re: Leinster v Quins

What's the deal with Ben Botica? Is he injured or even still at Quins? Long term injured. Swiel was brought in as cover. Quins without Evans, Robshaw and Marler are starting to be in a fairly serious amount of trouble. That's a lot of both talent and leadership they will be missing if all 3 are out...

Re: Leinster v Quins

Cut out the errors and Harlequins will hand you the game. Um, we probably won't. I was very surprised to see Leinster play quite so poorly and with as many errors that they did, but then Quins let them back in, which annoyed me too. The thing is, Quins aren't playing very well at the moment ...

Re: Quins v Leinster Europe Round 3 7/12/14.. BT

Perhaps it's the lunchtime pint, but I've a good feeling about this one. I think our pack should get the upper hand. If Heaslip/Jordi can manage to keep Wallace/Robshaw off our ball, I'd fancy us to make a bit of hay with the kicking game too. Bit of impact on that bench also thankfully. Conan coul...

Anyone know what the parking is like near the stadium? Re: Quins v Leinster December

Quins have just been given their allocation for the Aviva, so I imagine it will be announced shortly. They've probably put some aside as they have to offer some to travelling sides, but seeing the rubbish that Leinster have just given Quins, don't expect the best seats in the house! Leinster have '...

Re: European Opponent Watch

I have a vague recollection of Danny Care moving to ten a couple of times....or have I just plucked that from thin air? I have vague recollections and tend to watch through shut eyes and closed fingers! Danny had football trials as a young'un and has played outside half as a youth, which makes his ...

Re: European Opponent Watch

Well that was jolly good! Sorry we couldn't deprive Wasps a losing BP at the end, very uncharacteristic of Mr Evans there! In all seriousness, it's going to be a cracking battle in December; you'll all get a warm welcome at the stoop and I can't wait to come to the Aviva. There's a lot of rugby to c...

Re: European Opponent Watch

Poison game. Both sides are poor. Quins are utterly wasteful. They've been in the Castres 22 about a half dozen times and turned over unforced each time through knock ons, interceptions etc. Castres are defending well and not shirking their duties but they don't look dangerous and their line out is...

Re: European Opponent Watch

Phew! Never in doubt :D I thought Care would want to have a good game! I think someone mentioned the quins props earlier. We currently have Marler (ex-academy), Sinckler and Collier (younger than Joe, also both ex-academy). I don't think we've ever replaced Rossy or Johnson (who went to Sarries a fe...

Re: European Opponent Watch

What I didn't understand about that 'Bloodgate' game was why Quins didn't get Danny Care in position for a drop-goal instead of giving it to Evans, who was on one leg. Care's good at drop-goals and had got a nice one the previous week No idea! But then I'd not have selected Evans in the 22. It's on...

Re: European Opponent Watch

So winning the league a few seasons ago is beginning to look more like a fluke as every month goes by :( For some reason, Conor O'Shea decided to make Joe Marler captain this season and to relieve the pressure on Robshaw. The result? Well, Marler can't captain for toffee and Robbo isn't playing to h...

Re: New Euro competition

Best of luck with that Tigers. Humped by Ulster last few years. Toulon reigning champs. On the plus side you should have enough for the scarlets No telling yet, I think we have a better side than this time last year , time will tell, no easy games for any in this group. Shall wait for a few weeks b...

Re: ERCC Draw

Quins away first week in December you gotta think there is a good chance of this being a sat evening billing. Then again last time we were in Stoop it was a Sunday afternoon The last time the two teams met was in a 1/4 final. This isn't one. Quins are traditionally a Saturday afternoon club, so it ...

Re: ERCC Draw

Bloodgate part deux and Wasps. One or both of those may well be in Wembly. Quins definitely won't (move to Wembley). I can see it being at the Stoop because Quins don't need the money. (About 8 years ago we played Munster at 'nam; we were out of the group stages already and we needed the money as w...
