Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Everyone know the difference between a guideline and a law, right? There's nothing to stop an eu citizen from coming here. Other than pre existing laws. Also there's nothing in the guidelines to stop a team coming over here and training in carton House for 3 days. All that's needed is a protocol to ...

Also consider the higher standard of facilities for the media in the aviva.

Re: Corona Virus

Do you know what is hilarious? People driving cars on their own with a mask on. Who are they trying to protect themselves from? Themselves? Fairly tough as they ARE themselves. :) In fairness, if I'm heading out I try hit a few places to avoid going out again for as long as possible. So mask goes o...

Re: Sneak Peak - RDS Redevelopment Plans

In the town hall meeting recently Mick Dawson said they are now considering a Plan B option on the stand seemingly it's a paired down version of the Angelsea stand! It's amazing that we are over 7 years on this thread and not a single block has been laid and money is still not fully in place. As al...

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

There is also the factor of leinster Aviva days out competing with Ireland Aviva days out. The IRFU would appear to see that the more leinster have a day out in the Aviva especially around the same time, they will see a dip in attendence for the international. And seeing as the internationals are pr...

Re: Leinster Squad 19-20

This wouldn't have been an issue if Schmidt and the Incompetron Millennium Edition had any kind of foresight and placed Madigan in Connacht when they had the opportunity to do so before he signed for Bristol. Do you mean this as a general foresight into more options? Because I think at the time Mad...

Re: 2000/21 Membership

I think they were wrong to take the survey as your final answer. It was not advertised as such. But I assume if you email them they can re credit you.

Re: 2000/21 Membership

From the FAQ: I answered a survey last week about my options for that credit, what happens now? We are very grateful to all the season ticket holders that answered our survey The survey was to allow us to plan for the launch of our Official Membership If you chose Option A or B, the credit is in you...

Re: 2000/21 Membership

I agree, it's a overpriced compared to what I expected. Maybe 100 would have more balanced. 50 with credit from the terrace. Most people I know are skipping this year and banking the credit for next year. It certainly will be an expensive scarf. .... But there will be a scarf, right??? Sent from my ...

Re: Leinster Squad 19-20

2 points: The whole carberry thing was preempted by the Jackson affair. If Jackson was still in place and maintaining form for ulster, he would have been js choice for the world Cup (likely we would have been campaigning to bring carberry). We lost the the euro final to a team that was cheating to m...

Any chance we could put all the league stuff into its own thread and not in the pro14 thread?

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

Plus you have to consider the max capacity of the ground. We can and should try get more in for the treviso games during the 6 nations etc and the quality of the match day experience will help that a lot. But generally when you compare one teams attendance to another its average attendance you look ...

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

It just seems that no logic is applied to these comments. Surely the logic behind the comments is Munster had customer base, built a stadium to cater for that base, had to get bailed out to build that stadium, and now seem to have lost a lot of that customer base. Might be simplistic, but no more s...

Re: Leinster Rugby Cancels Season Tickets for 2020-21

I actually quite like this membership idea in general and hope they build on it. It would be a good way to streamline the sale of European and international tickets while giving provincial season ticket holders and club members priority. As far as I know, they've always had a membership where you p...

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

For me it's not about how blue your blood is, your parents accent, what posters were on your wall when you were growing up, or whether you have red hair or freckles. It's about what system produced you. If you went to a leinster school and the leinster academy, you were produced by leinster. If most...

Re: Champions Cup 2020

Why would a team with a bye week not play in their domestic league? Even if there was an odd number of teams per league, its just a scheduling issue. But with 8 teams per league, week 1 can be pro 14 v top 14, week 2 Pro 14 v prem, week 3 top 14 v prem, etc etc BTW I'm not a proponent this. But it's...

Re: Champions Cup 2020

A pool with 3 teams still needs 6 weekends to complete their fixtures. A pool with 3 teams only has 2 opponents. Home and away equals 4 weekends. Unless you are suggesting leinster will play home and away against ourselves (cue joke about finally getting some tough opposition....) Sent from my SM-A...

Re: Champions Cup 2020

8 groups of 3, 4 group games.
Top 2 go through to round of 16.
QF, SF, F

Less gimmes against poor teams. More knockout games. Less weekends overall.

One of the short-comings of the current decision-making process is that all those involved in it are totally devoid of the experiences of those who have become the subjects of their decisions. You lost me here. Who are these entities of which you speak, robots? lizard people? oligarchs in ivory tow...
