Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

Whatever about project players and residency qualifications - whether it's 3 or 5 years - anybody from outside Ireland with an Irish parent or just one grandparent is fully entitled to Irish citizenship and represent the country in whatever sport. Hell, was reading in Sunday Times magazine a couple...

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

As someone who's partner wasn't born here, I have a problem with the view that people can come here as an economic unit and live and work but will never be truely Irish. I know some will say they aren't talking about life in general, and that sport is different. But for me sport is quite a big part ...

The logic as I understand it is : everything that's not essential to close with exceptions for elite sport where they are testing 2/3 times a week. The question I have is the elite gaa, are they testing like that too? (Note also exceptions for underage sport) Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk Th...

Re: General GAA thread

I don't have premium access, but from the preview of the author's article 3 weeks ago : "Student parties are not reckless - as long as they don't ask granny to come along .... But the young people in that video know that the risk of their falling seriously ill, even if they do get Covid, is very sma...

Re: Corona Virus

The answer machine has given the answer that most things outside the home are safe, so it's inside the home that's the problem. But he virus hasn't been hiding behind the sofa since March. So it's a case of garbage in garbage out. Thats because either people are not answering or giving false answers...

For those talking about herd immunity : Genomic evidence for reinfection with SARS-CoV-2: a case study Findings The patient had two positive tests for SARS-CoV-2, the first on April 18, 2020, and the second on June 5, 2020, separated by two negative tests done during follow-up in May, 2020. Re: Corona Virus

It's fair to say Peg Leg that anyone who posts here or just lurks would have sympathy for how you and others like RoboProp and your families have had experience of COVID. However it is necessary to have discussion about how best to tackle the problem that is COVID because if we don't we're going to...

Re: 8 Nations 2020

I literally had card in hand, willing to pay for an episode of a series I missed, but they declined because it was an irish card.
So I went and got it from somewhere else (That may or may not have been free and or legal).

Re: Pro 14 Semi-final vs ???

I’m familiar with the changes since 2015 but since Cardiff has been cancelled they can apply any criteria they want so why not best placed team. The quarantine rules your quoting won’t necessarily apply the same to sports teams under constant monitoring. The football team are playing a game in Bulg...

18 game makes sense with the compressed timeline due to the late start.

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Everyone know the difference between a guideline and a law, right? There's nothing to stop an eu citizen from coming here. Other than pre existing laws. Also there's nothing in the guidelines to stop a team coming over here and training in carton House for 3 days. All that's needed is a protocol to ...

Also consider the higher standard of facilities for the media in the aviva.

Re: Corona Virus

Do you know what is hilarious? People driving cars on their own with a mask on. Who are they trying to protect themselves from? Themselves? Fairly tough as they ARE themselves. :) In fairness, if I'm heading out I try hit a few places to avoid going out again for as long as possible. So mask goes o...

Re: Sneak Peak - RDS Redevelopment Plans

In the town hall meeting recently Mick Dawson said they are now considering a Plan B option on the stand seemingly it's a paired down version of the Angelsea stand! It's amazing that we are over 7 years on this thread and not a single block has been laid and money is still not fully in place. As al...

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

There is also the factor of leinster Aviva days out competing with Ireland Aviva days out. The IRFU would appear to see that the more leinster have a day out in the Aviva especially around the same time, they will see a dip in attendence for the international. And seeing as the internationals are pr...

Re: Leinster Squad 19-20

This wouldn't have been an issue if Schmidt and the Incompetron Millennium Edition had any kind of foresight and placed Madigan in Connacht when they had the opportunity to do so before he signed for Bristol. Do you mean this as a general foresight into more options? Because I think at the time Mad...

I think they were wrong to take the survey as your final answer. It was not advertised as such. But I assume if you email them they can re credit you.
