Re: Leinster Rugby Mount Rushmore

I saw Ollie Le Roux play in Parc y Scarlets in the pissing rain. A match we normally would've packed up and gone home at half time. He was critical in changing the club. He should be there. I named my dog after him. Ha, same here! I'm assuming you called your dog Ollie rather than Le Roux? :D He's ...

Re: Top14 19-20

Apparently the French teams are still interested in finishing off the 19-20 European fixtures and are pushing for 8 spots in a 24 team cup next time.

Re: Champions Cup 2020

From Tickets.ie : "As Covid-19 continues to spread across Europe, The decision has been made to postpone both the Heineken Champions Cup & European Challenge Cup Finals. The events will be rescheduled for a later date, which has yet to be confirmed by the EPCR. We would like to take this opportunity...

Re: 6 Nations 2020

This is just the start of it I reckon. It's unlikely the two European QFs in France will go ahead now. Final is less than three months away which is probably not enough time to get the spread of this under control or in decline.

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

As mentioned in the match thread we still got the largest crowd of the weekend despite the weather. Strange seeing the North and South stands closed like that, it wouldn't be a regular occurrence like it is elsewhere to close two ends of the ground.

Not exactly a hive of activity in here, is it? Everyone must have a dose of post-RWC indifference.

I wouldn't want us getting one that way either but think it's interesting that it's already been raised with ECPR.

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

How would we feel about getting a star that way? Doesn't bother Clermont according to Gerry Thornley yesterday : " Clermont have also written to the Champions Cup organisers ECPR (European Club Professional Rugby) demanding that Saracens be stripped of their title in 2017 and the trophy be awarded ...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

Listening to that right now as it happens - he's up to his neck in the Flavor Aid Absolute nonsense from Venter claiming they are only £500K over the cap. They're being relegated over that amount? That must be how much they've added to their wage bill just this season with Daly etc. I'd love to kno...

Any idea why there was so much booing for the second Northampton try or why Biggar was booed when being replaced?

Statement and Q&A from Saracens confirming they are not appealing the fine and points deduction. Apparently they are now compliant with the salary cap.

Re: Leinster v Dragons RDS Friday 7.35 Eir/TG4

There are plenty of things that they could offer ST holders (upgrading to the covered stand vacant seats on rainy nights, for instance) but I never thought priority access was something that was required. This used to be a thing up until the season before last, you could pay to upgrade to one of th...

They've had another handy route to the final alright although not as easy as 2007 where they had Fiji in the QF and Argentina in the SF.

This has happened before. Technical issues with a game in Italy meaning we miss the start.
