Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

I don't think Van Grann has done a particularly bad job (its difficult to win stuff when you ave to get past us at the moment. The bar is really high), I just haven't seen any improvement from within Munster that I could attribute to him. Lancaster and McFarland have all made their teams better, qui...

Re: Corona Virus

I hope those in such positions recognise, or remember, how debilitating is life without anticipation. Have you considered how debilitating it can be when you're dead? Just one post ago you were talking about how the government made a mistake in ignoring the care homes and now your willing to throw ...

Re: Corona Virus

My occasional annoyance at the attitude of Dr Holohan and Minister Harris (" leave the detail to us, just do what you're told") If we've learned anything from Trumps daily car crashes its the danger of offering complex information to people incapable of processing it. I'm pretty happy with how Holo...

Re: Corona Virus

As the noise increases about the malelvolent behaviour and intentions of China in relation to the evolution and spread of Covid19, it's worth bearing in mind that China had a Trade Surplus with the rest of the world in 2018 of more than $350 Bn. Their trading surplus with the US alone in 2019 was n...

Re: Corona Virus

Nobody says that ramping up testing is easy, you know what is easy though - communications - that’s really easy. We’re like mushrooms here. I'm going to sound unsympathetic here, and that's not my aim, but whats the big deal? Is she still suffering symptoms? Has she been self-isolating? As you said...

Re: 50/22 law change

Apply the current laws correctly instead of adding yet another thing they'll get wrong. I agree with you in general but this one is pretty cut and dry. No interpretation to it. These are the kind of rules that are easier to ref. The offside line is piss easy to ref - there's 4 referees all it needs...

A side will win the throw into a lineout if they bounce the ball into touch beyond the opposition 22 from behind halfway or beyond halfway from behind their own 22
Just wanted to put this here as I keep forgetting what the rule is.

If we accept those numbers that we are accepting that this pandemic will result in over 50 million global deaths. We have 30-ish cases in Ireland. Are we really going there already.
