Hope they do whatever needs to be done to ensure this odious toad at least never gets to run for elected office again.
Its not him you need to worry about, its Don Jnr or Ivanka.

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1

"Mickey mouse" was probably the wrong phase to use, but I think sending down a weakened team to our biggest rival (outside of an international and European window) disrespects the fixture (sod the competition), and the fans who really want to see these guys go after each other.

That was a great post Flip. Appreciate that.

Worth a thread of their own if you ask me.

Judging by Leo's words after the Saints match, the internationals are all off for a long break.

Mickey mouse team will be sent down.

Toulon have just pulled out of tonights game vs Scarlets citing health concerns. Scarlets had a positive case but the game was due to be played
So they concede the points then.

Re: Leinster v Northampton 19/12 1PM

I would suggest people don’t need to look to far at our neighbours who would have only been delighted to have a steady Eddie for the past couple of seasons just to do the normal stuff right. Ian Keatley may want to discuss that point with you in more detail. They f*cking destroyed him for not being...

Excited to see Frawley at 12 and O'Brien at 15.

Less excited to see that pack. I think we look underpowered up front, but I fully understand why they have done it.

Will be fun to see us play a match we are not favorites for, for a change.

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

Makeshift team in a meaningless match in an empty stadium and a limited opponent Not much to learn from that regardless of the result. Henderson looked physical today. Keenan is an absolute gem of a player. Herring seems to be able to throw the ball in. Aside from that, it looked a little worse than...

Quite a clear tackle in the air on Bigger in the lead up to the England try. TMO told him but he refused to look at it, saying that the Welsh player jumped into him.
Thought he fell into the tackler rather than the other way around. He caught him rather than tackled him.

Re: England v Ireland 21 November 15:00

As Murray Kinsella wrote in the 42 today, look at how deep Sexton played from in Twickenham last Feb. Pretty much the same as Ross Byrne on Saturday. Doesn't matter. people need someone to blame and Byrne's two international starts away to England with an understrength team, are enough for him to b...

Re: England v Ireland 21 November 15:00

I think the speed with which JGP and Byrne are being blamed for the performance is disappointing. I'd expect it from our southern brethren (munster players were awesome, Leinster players were bad yadda yadda yadda) but people here don't seem to be fully considering the opposition, the speed of the b...

We werent better, but I think we were competitive in areas I expected us to struggle.
Sums it up well. We weren't better, but we weren't as bad as some people seem to want us to have been.

Forgot to say the bench did well. I thought they would be a weakness but they were a strength.

Itoge is a f*cking monster. I always through he was a little overhyped, but what a player.

Re: England v Ireland 21 November 15:00

I don't know. I don't get all the negativity. I thought we played what is at the moment the best team in the world, away from home, under-strength and with an inexperienced young team and we were competitive. At one stage the game looked like it could be a 30-40 point drubbing, but it wasn't. It cou...

Re: England v Ireland 21 November 15:00

Getting a little tired of losing the tight exchanges (and then the game) to the English so while I imagine it'll be Connors, Stander and Doris, I wonder if they are thinking of playing Beirne or Henderson at 6 (Stander to 7) to try to bulk the team up a bit.

Re: Ireland v. Wales, Fri 13 Nov, 19.00

You did. My error. I am not sure POM’s direction was limited to Murray. It’s worse again if it was just Murray he directed as in that case he had bypassed the Captain altogether. Either way POM had inserted himself into a Captaincy decision when he wasn’t in the role. I think you are reading WAY to...

Re: Pro14 - Sooner SA teams the better

I've never quite understood why, but both the Welsh and Scottish teams are horribly underfunded compared to the Irish teams. Its strange given we all share the same source of funds. Until they are appropriately funded, they will continue to be sh!t.
