f%~k Keane. He chose to watch Lancashire in the County Cricket championship rather than represent his country at the World Cup. And don't get me started about Stephen Ireland  What is it with langers ?? Hats off to the supporters. They're realists. We were always on a hiding to nothing against...

Prepare to receive all the bad news that has been held back for the last six weeks  Still waiting. I know. I'm gobsmacked  . Perhaps they're waiting for the week before the Dáil recess. Either way there's plenty of imminent bad news waiting to be released. Mick Wallace's public floggin...

It's hard to troll when your team is so very, very below the standard set by Leinster. Why bother, when the proles you're up against struggle so hard with the English language. Learn to read and write in Ballymun did we? what are proles?? is it opposite of trolls? but should they be prolls ? ...

I have a big issue with the Public Service. But in fairness, it's not the Gardaí, Teachers or Nurses that are the problem, it is all the hangers on who are the primary problem. For example, when FF (in their last Christmas in power) proposed letting 5,000 staff in the HSE go, the Irish Times ran an article breaking down the numbers employed within. That gave (in round figures) 38,000 Nurses and 17,000 Admin staff. So 1 pen pusher to every 2 Nurses. Bit excessive one would think. However on reflection, you have to work out the number of hours worked and given that Nurses have to work 24/7, or more precisely 168 hours in the week whereas the Admin staff only work 37.5 hours in the week, then dividing the number of nurses by 168 hours and multiplying by 37.5 hours, you end up with about 8,500 Nurses to the 17,000 Admin staff. Totally excessive. Wtf are they all doing? You thus end up with 2 Admin staff to every 1 Nurse on a like for like basis. I know I could run the whole system with 1,700 staff.

What are all the staff in the Planning Dept doing? As far as I am concerned, we genuinely need the Front line people we don't need the Back room people. And don't get me started on these Back room people employing Consultants to tell them what to do.

One qualification, we don't need the bloody traffic cops
Nothing personal, but what a load of utter b*%&!x.

Firstly who in their right mind, with an IQ of over 40 actually gives a sh!t to what Joe Duffy pontificates about. He can't be taken seriously with his 6 figure salary from RTE and his retainer from the Mail group.

Secondly, ask An Bord Altranais why so many more clerical staff are needed in hospitals now than were needed before nursing became a Degree qualification !

Thirdly, the Fiscal "compact", means that public service staff will be cut/not replaced in the future, to balance the books. If the books aren't balanced, cuts have to be made.

Finally, from what I've seen over the past few months while driving around, more traffic cops are needed, and if they really tackled speeding, red light runners, bus lane bandits, etc, they'd take in more money in fines alone (forget the points debacle) than the household charge and the NPPR combined. More enforcement on the road would mean stupid chancers would be more afraid to act the maggot on our roads. So its a win-win for both the Exchequer and for road safety. If a ref lets a team away with "hands in the ruck" they'll be at it all game. If he pings them from the start, They'll stop, or if not they''ll pay for the continuing infringement. SIMPLES

great result for the munster academy and young players. Re: Barnes to ref Leinster's game

I've had the odd quick chuckle myself when I've heard Barnes 'en francais'. He has tried to ape Alain Rolland in using French during games. Now maybe someone will tell me he's fluent, but I've often thought he sounds like a character in 'Allo Allo. If he's a francophile fine; so long as he leaves i...

Good luck to an honest hard working professional. One of those unsung heros that stepped into the breach whenever needed. Re: Wasps Swotted for Good?

To be honest, I don’t really think we in Leinster are in a position to cast disparaging glances at some of those clubs because they dial up branding and marketing given where our team has gone recently. Incidentally, there are reasons why those clubs are called what they are. Saints are called Sain...

People who have a problem singing COYBIB at Leinster games because they are from another county outside of Dublin. Its not GAA, the two have nothing to do with each other. The curse of the OLSC legends T-shirt strikes again.

My favourite memory was the inaugural CL semi final when he played in the centre. He ran through the Glasgow defence juggling the ball behind him, in a desperate attempt not to knock on.

Thanks for all the good memories down through the years.
