Re: Donald Trump - Have your say.

It's looking a little brighter JRB than it did 90 minutes ago. Probably going to end up in the courts in at least 4 of states

Joe is done. Can't see him taking 4 of the remaining 6 states. Some of the talk on CNN reminds me of Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber.

Re: Donald Trump - Have your say.

I think what's different to 2016 is that this time round there are less undecideds to flip. In 2016 there is data out there saying in the swing states that the undecideds flipped as much as 75% to 25% in favour of the the orange one and that got him over the line in the key states. This time round t...

Re: Donald Trump - Have your say.

I must confess to be an US presidental election junkie. I have done the numbers every which way up and down. Given what happened with opinion polls 4 years ago saying Hilary was home and hosed. I have looked at the opinion polls and any state that gives Biden 5% or less lead I have given to Trump. J...

Re: Corona Virus

As predicted, the government decision on golf and tennis has unleashed the potential of c. 400,000 letter writers who were previously a largely supportive silent majority of sanity. Before this 6 weeks are finished Donnelly, Martin, Ryan and Varadkar are going to seriously regret pissing off a grou...

Re: Corona Virus

The Govm't has rightly pissed off members of Tennis & Golf Clubs by ordering all to close from tomorrow. The GUI apparently offered to enforce the 5km restriction on its own Club members and to ensure only two players could play 9 holes a day. Rumour has it that GAA-focussed Ministers insisted that...

Re: Corona Virus

Did Meath really have 186 cases today, up from "only" 38 yesterday? Ratoath won the county championship Sunday before last and a 3 day bender ensued. Same in Kingsocurt, Killeshandra, Kilnaleck and Moycullen. Those are the ones I know of. It turns out people who have to work in between playing are ...

Re: Pro 14 - General Thread

Not sure where to post this. If and when the Government relax and ease restrictions in relation to large gatherings/crowds in the coming months. Also seeing that the GAA have rescheduled their entire season. How much of an impact will these factors have on attendances for the provinces and the IRFU?...
