Re: Stan cited by IRFU

Also, though the shoeing of Sexton did look bad he was on the wrong side so hard to see a ban coming Williams way as ref had seen it too. Yeah I was listening to the radio coverage while at the game and they picked up Nigel Owens giving Johnny a telling off after that incident, so it's surprising t...

Re: 6 Nations Scotland Tickets

Thanks for the offer but looking for 2 together. No worries, may as well advertise it here now so! It's a €75 one, on the corner of the hogan and canal, in the upper deck but just 5 rows back from the front. I'll be at the match later on so can arrange the pick up there, or at an alternative time i...

They mentioned on Newstalk this evening that the branch had been in touch to say they would be meeting in the next few days to decide on the venue.

Re: London Irish game moved to Twickenham

Is anybody going to stay in Reading? Four of us booked into the Ibis in Reading for 3 nights. It will be a bit too costly to change. So much for being organized. Maybe the OLSC could suggest a HQ for the unlucky ones stuck in Reading. Having checked out the alternatives, I'll be sticking with the R...

Re: Galway Weather for 2 Jan '10

Not long in the door, the only saving grace of the day personally was that I heard the announcement on the radio in time to make the 3:05 train! I should have thought that the free weekend after the London Irish game would be when it would be held, although that would rule out anyone involved in the...

It seems to allow you pick 1 ticket, I presume that's an error in the system?

Re: Favourite moment of the final/campaign

Been itching to start this thread, so here goes. Fav moment of the final: I don't know who started it but with 5-10 mins to go the sound of "Stand up for the boys in blue" absolutely caught the right emotion and even the most reserved of our supporters were on their feet . It was about to...

Re: Ticket Allocation for the Final

Not sure if anyone has started a thread on this already, but I just got the email to inform us that the sth's are getting only 4,000 out of the 7,500 allocation. I'd really like to see a breakdown of where the other 3,500 are going. I can't imagine player and staff allocations are even approaching ...

This is a joke. people will be travelling tomorrow back from the game. Also people will not receive their email until tuesday due to the bank holiday. This is a giant c~*k-up. So what is your suggestion? Edit: Bear in mind that LR are only marginally involved in Ticketing for this match, and the ER...

And the ticket I ordered for Cardiff/Toulouse arrived last week, so this would really seal the deal for the weekend

Also met 4 guys there who had flown into Birmingham and taken the train down. There is a monorail link from the airport to the station. Train was 90 mins and cost £27. They seemed happy enough as they bought cans on the train. That monorail is so cool!!! Like something from the not too dista...

Re: So well done Munster

Congratulations Munster. Can't agree that it was boring. I get to a serious amount of matches across all codes, and that was up there with anything I have ever seen....ever! I was sitting at pitch level, and it was absolutely suffocating in there. You could only marvel at the courage and fight that ...
