Re: Corona Virus
Are you a professor of science or medical illnesses? The new strain is completely different to the old one. Its affecting more people and younger, healthier people at that. The original strain wasnt as transmisable than this one. People need to wake the fcuk up and take this seriously. We all know ...

Re: Corona Virus
New strain is mostly bullsh!t imho. Viruses, in general, become much more active or infectious as temperatures drop, hence the well known flu season. COVID is no different. It's no coincidence that case numbers are higher. Throw in the carry on over Christmas and we are now where we are. Lets blame...

Luke McGrath is killing us.
He has to take responsibility and clear the ball himself.
He's got a novice at 10 and he's shovelling the ball to him.
Has he forgotten how to box kick.

Thank You " mildlyinterested"
I'm sure that it's fair to say that mildly's many threads and posts have been both informative and interesting.
And have contributed to keeping some of us sane or at least as sane as we can be.
So mildly take a well deserved bow and keep it coming.

Great Post IanD.
I'd just add a special mention for any of you who have to work on Christmas Day.

Re: Friday's Rave
How old do you have to be before you have to stop climbing on top of your green bid and indulging in a spot of Jack Palancing followed by a jump dismount on grass? Asking for a friend I suspect the answer may be the same as what age you have to be before "falling over" becomes "having a fall" If yo...

Re: Friday's Rave
If you mean the principle I would suggest that's incorrect.
However if you mean the execution of the principle I suspect it could be a damn close run thing.

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
2017 : Narrative: Leinster disrespecting the fixture by sending a team of kids to be slaughtered at Thomond Park. The likes of Jordan Larmour, Ross Byrne, Jamison Gibson-Park and James Ryan (who all played that day) were clearly not ready but within a few months had all played for Ireland, many win...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
These games are always such an anticlimax, not just because Munster generally lose, but because it usually ends up being two weakened teams playing. I suspect that this game will be no different. Given the workload of many of the internationals, I suspect many will be given the Christmas period off...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Judging by Leo's words after the Saints match, the internationals are all off for a long break. Mickey mouse team will be sent down. You're right in part. Leinster are a highly animated team. In that context perhaps "Mighty Mouse" would have been a more accurate description of the squad that will b...

Re: Leinster v Northampton 19/12 1PM
If you start Harry Byrne you have to be prepared to pull him if he bombs. It’s not something I’d expect but it makes sense to have Ross on the bench. Christmas Dinner Chez Byrne would be super awks in that situation. "Can you pass the gravy, Ross?" "Are you sure you can handle it, Harry? Maybe I sh...

Re: Leinster v Northampton 19/12 1PM
A game which proved the value of our coaching week by week. The disruption in our backline clearly showed in the absence of cohesion in our passing. Our pack were pedestrian and far too loosely spread out - slow to support at tackles, too lateral in defence. Forget about extra tries. We got 5 point...

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21
What an unbelievable comeback. I can’t wait to watch that game again. Munster had probably the worst start that they have ever had, with 4 tries conceded within 25 mins, and the game looking like a season ending game. Munster showed great steal to stay in that game, and get the better of a very for...
