Re: Tickets for the semi
That LR knowingly let their Season ticket holders buy sh!t seats to "save the system" is shameful. Why not release Blk 105 as "Best Available" from 10am and let those that log on at 11.30 chose their seats behind the goal? For "knowingly let" read "actively encour...

Re: Connacht game re-arranged for next Wednesday
I'm looking for one more Terrace ticket for this now please and thank you.
Will be in the HSH from 6-ish tonight if you want to save yourself the hassle of looking for refunds etc.
Sorry mods; it would be lost in the Away section.

Re: Fastest Player in Irish Rugby
Michael Kiernan was a 200m sprinter for Ireland Athletics but the fastest player ever would have been Vinny Becker. Spot on. Becker faster over 100, but Kiernan was more of a 200 metres man. Brendan Mullin, who somebody else mentioned, specialised in 110 metre hurdles. Some bloody pace in that part...

Re: Your Country, Your Call
I had a quick trawl through this after reading Gene Kerigan's piece in the Sindo and it's both funny and frightening in equal measure. Personal favourites include: going bonkers for native animals I feel people should try to bring native animals like donkeys back to big figures like they were in the...

Well league form didn't have much of a bearing on their European campaign last season. Managing to f%~k it up despite not losing a game is a unique talent mind you.

Same could be said for the likes of An Post - only way to fix it is to shut the thing down and build it from scratch, pity it will never happen. Harsh that SS. If you check it out An Post have actually made a profit every year since 2004 and despite a 10% reduction in delivery volumes last year the...

Re: The LUAS
At a guess i'd say the bus ran a red light - the Luas stop is a bit back from the intersection where the collision happended (if it was Tallaght bound). It was heading for the IFSC. Happened outside Clarke's just as the track crosses O'Connell Street. The LUAS has right of way so this has to be put...

Re: The LUAS
Fair point but the driver was at the point of the collision alright. There are people being taken away on stretchers now too. Hopefully it's nothing more serious than shock.

Re: Darren Sutherland RIP
R.I.P. Darren.
It's very hard to get your head around this one. He just seemed to have so much going for him. Kevin Mitchell posits an injury/ depression theory in the Guardian. It's an otherwise nice piece but I'm not sure I buy it.
