I imagine we'll have Lowe available to get him some game time before joining up with Ireland. What was JO'B's injury on Saturday?

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
McGrath, I believe, has gotten himself back into the Ireland squad after that. Those 2 runs up the left in the 2nd half alleviated a lot of pressure. Even if he throws the odd wobbly pass, that intelligence at 9 is priceless.

Very good point re Moloney. I could see Josh Murphy getting a bench spot for similar reasons. With the Six Nations coming up certain players will definitely start but we have options elsewhere.

Re: Leinster v Northampton 19/12 1PM
The objective in this competition is to accumulate the maximum number of competition points. Why would we field anything other than our strongest team when we cannot know what any of our opponents are going to accumulate? Agreed but when standards are so high across the board we can reward good for...

Cheers. I'd imagine that there will be to help prepare the provinces for any potential QF's.cormac wrote:Don't think there are currently any matches scheduled after January.Cianostays wrote: ↑December 12th, 2020, 9:59 pm Are there Interpros scheduled around the QF's?

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
All for giving younger lads a shot but they'll need some experience around them especially in the front row. I agree that Bent could do with a rest. So, for me that leaves 3 options: Milne, Tracey, Parker Dooley, Tracey, Clarkson Dooley, Sheehan, Parker Happy to pair Dunne with either Moloney or Far...

Re: MNR: Edinburgh in the RDS, 16/11, 8.15pm
Fabulous result........again. Having more games during the Internationals has skewed things but only a little. We went unbeaten in the season up until March before Covid derailed things. Glasgow and Scarlets fading away from where they were previously is a disaster for the league. As another poster ...

Re: Ospreys away, Sunday, Nov 8th 3pm
2 weeks in a row now for Ruddock (and much deserved). Mad how he's so overlooked by Irish management In the games so far this season Ruddock looks like he is playing in age grade match’s and he is about 5 years older than the rest of the players on the pitch. He looks in unbelievable shape and card...

I was very pleased by Kelleher's performance also. Fierce competition in the back 3 suddenly.

Ruddock, TO'B and Harry Byrne are playing like Monday Night rugby is beneath. Our rucking is superb. Glasgow tight 5 has been brutal though.

Considering International duty, I'm genuinely surprised at how strong a pack we can put out.

Re: Zebre at home, 23 Oct. 19:35
Ruddock and Murphy really getting stuck in, and JOB's kicking is quality. In every replay I thought it was fairly clear that the Zebre 19 made contact with Molony's eye - I'm surprised they didn't freeze frame it at the last contact, where it was clearest. That said, Ross didn't make much of a deal...

It's enjoyable to watch for us but Zebre are pretty bloody poor. Luke and Rhys look way above this level.

Ah that's excellent news about Leavy. Good strong pack also. Puzzled at no Cian Kelleher in the squad.

Re: Benetton v. Leinster, Sat 10 Oct, 1715hrs
I found that we were trying to offload more than usual. I wonder is this our way of compensating for the fact that our regular phase building style will be tougher under the stricter ruck interpretation in place now? Very good result to pick a bp whilst trying to evolve our style. Sent from my SM-G5...

Lovely looking squad. Hope Clarkson gets the chance to scrummage with Ryan behind him. Wonder is Cian Kelleher just not impressing in training? Would love to see him involved more.
