Re: James Lowe signs for Leinster

I thought he would have made the bench for the Dragons game. The Super Rugby season finished in August (as far as I know) so surely he's well rested by now.

Not too impressed with the new scrum half from NZ. Can't seem to pass the ball properly.

Re: Successful first year for Leo?

...Leo is an abject failure. Ah here, that's a bit harsh. A new coach who has literally never coached a professional side before has got us into the Pro12 final at his first attempt. Yes of course he's still learning the ropes but if win the Pro12 next weekend I for one think that it will be an inc...

If only - but in terms of being realistic we have to accept that Luke will never be fit for more than a handful of games at a time. History has proven this time and time again unfortunately.

Successful first year for Leo?

I'm thrilled that we've finished top of the league in Leo's first year in charge. Even if we don't win the league outright I'll consider this a successful year for Leo in this his first year in the top job. However, the dwindling attendances in the RDS lead me to think that others don't share my vie...

Gordon D'Arcy retiring

Just heard that D'Arcy is retiring at the end of this season. Over 250 Leinster caps making him our most capped player ever. The term "legend" is all too often thrown about but I think his service to Leinster firmly places him in the Leinster Legend category. Make sure to give him a send o...

Re: Time to go MOC

I'm with quite a few others in having shifted my vie won this over the past 3 months. I thought (and still do think) that the calls midway (approx) through last season for him to go were premature and OTT. While I fully accepted we weren't at our best I thought the mitigating circumstances and the ...

Re: Documentaries to See Before You Die

Searching for Sugar Man is a great documentary. It won the best documentary Oscar last year and it's available online (ahem.....allegedly) Thanks so much for that recommendation. A story well told, and very much worth knowing. Really enjoyed it. Its actually up on YouTube ("Searching for Sugar...

Re: Leinster v Exeter

I know there are underlying reasons for it but... We have the two best full backs in the Northern Hemisphere in our squad. Ian Madigan is not one of them. I thought he played well last week but did look a little suspect under the high ball at times, especially down the middle from Munster kickoffs ...
