Anyone who played against Wales can only play twice more until January which will come into Galthie's equations

Re: A whiff of Cordite

Sexton signed with Racing in January 2013. Nucifora took on the job as IRFU Performance Director in April 2014. Guess how many Irish players who have signed for foreign teams since Nucifora took over have been in an Irish training squad, never mind a team? Zero. The IRFU f*cking up Sexton's contrac...

The intention was for the two to come back, leinsters displeasure was widely reported.
If Leinster wanted them, then they wouldn't have allowed their Leinster contracts expire. They didn't, so they did.

Re: Leinster Squad 20-21

No one gave a damn about Roux leaving - no one. We let him go for six months, then another six months, then ran his contract out allowing him to sign for Connacht - we had a bunch of chances to bring him back if we were so unhappy about it, but we obviously weren't, especially as Mick Kearney moved ...

Re: Leinster Squad 20-21

You are right indeed - Quinn Roux moved on loan initially before moving permanently. I don't recall us ever wanting him back though (indeed we were so unconcerned about him, he played against us while on loan).

Re: Leinster Squad 20-21

Last time we sent two lads down to Connacht they didn’t find their way back to us. We wanted both back and both went on to become full international’s. Which two lads? The only two players I can remember sending to Connacht on loan were John Cooney and Tom Daly. We never asked for the latter back, ...

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

International rugby was never about representing "your" country. Thats an entirely new concept in the last 25 years or so. You represented the game of rugby in the country you played in and were selected for, not the country itself. After the game went open there was a fear that countries like Italy...

Connors playing for Ireland, and playing so well, guarantees that at least one of the 7s will be moved. Indeed, it would be negligent of Farrell if it weren't the case.

Re: Ireland V Italy 24th October

Great performance. Really exciting stuff. Delighted for Connors & Keenan. I'd go more for it being a good performance with some heartening play. Some of the passing was mediocre, to be charitable, but it was after a long lay off The two lads you name, and all the debutants indeed, had very good gam...

Very good first half with Ruddock and JOB excelling. Luke McG has been very good as well, keeping the game moving at a good lick.

Re: 6 Nations (Women)

The France Women’s XVs are to travel to Dublin to complete the final fixture of the 2020 Women’s Six Nations after it emerged that isolation requirements for elite athletes returning to Ireland had put the fixture at threat. Are there still going to be qualifiers this year? If there are, it's not great having any of the Ulster counties bopping around the country

They seem to have gotten scabby with the invites. I've been on there for over 10 years and I've only given out 3 invites. I seem to have none left.
They do seem to be alright, I went looking when Wx posted and I don't have any either

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

The clock said 79.51 rather than 79.57 at the end. Dunno why the timekeeper wasn’t listening to Nige, he was very clear. Anyway Im glad Exeter won. Racing aren’t cheats like someone we could mention, but their success is built on a rich man’s chequebook like Toulon before them. I just don’t want to...
