Re: Roll call for Bilbao!.

...and we got our two tickets from the draw! Happy days. We left it til now to book, so we did expect it not to be cheap. €1700 is a lot of moolah for the Killester two night option in Vitoria, plus €140 for the tickets, but we appreciate that getting to a fourth final is a rather good problem to ha...

Re: Thank you Isa

Folks, three things: Thank you Isa, the best, most valuable overseas player to play in Ireland. In my shaky memory, Isa played a very early game in his first season (at 10 I think) and either broke or seriously injured his arm, was this the Ospreys game in Sept ember'08? I only ask because I think I...

Likewise! We opted not to take the E165 tickets ("not face value" as they grudgingly mention!), so are hoping the ST lottery gets us two tickets.

Re: Leinster v Saracens

I say this out of genuine curiousity, but how much of a crossover is there between Dublin GAA and Leinster Rugby in terms of serious fans? Obviously a very small sample size but the serious Dubs fans I know hardly ever go to rugby especially Leinster if at all and the serious rugby fans I know go t...

I'm covering all bases here:

Leort Culcaster

On second thoughts no, didn't he get killed off in Series Three of Game of Thrones?

Re: Exeter Chiefs v Leinster Sunday 5.30 BT

I was all aflutter about Lowe not being selected- but after reading the last few pages, I have to say on balance, the value of Lowe isn't in him starting on Sunday or else it is a waste of a great player, but rather, Leinster are doing the right thing in integrating him in a managed way. I saw the g...

Re: Season Ticket Collection Vouchers

I finally accepted we are doomed as a species when I opened the perfectly useless plain white cardboard box (sorry Hugo) to find a Leinster-branded carrier bag (wrapped in plastic) inside. Did it really occur to nobody that everything could have been put in the bag and the RDS wouldn't be left havi...

Re: Rugby World Cup - Travelling Leinster Fans

First home Leinster game missed sine 05/06- but a good excuse for doing so! I would appreciate any updates on this as I wouldn't know where to begin looking in London. Anyway, TG4 will be on the telly over there- sure aren't they gone mad watching the hurling over there on Sky!

Thankfully Tony's first name isn't Thomas. "Browne, Thomas" would be too much of an open goal in provincial stereotypes.

Re: Time to go MOC

I am happy for Leinster rugby and I am sad (genuinely) for MOC. Key questions for me are- will Isa now be given a player/asst. coach role instead of the loony toons confirmation (imho) by Matt that Isa was coming exclusively to play? (he could obviously get our back line moving better than it has be...

I think I'm right in saying that you can't live pause or record from the "other" channels.

Just in case you want to keep this one for posterity. :?

Re: Time to go MOC

Statistics are extremely important and good data can help to make good decisions. But some of the skill is in the interpretation of that data. I would love to see some more of the first choice guys in blue over the season but that is not how the game works in Ireland and if as a coach you have a pr...
