Are you sure you're right about Thomond? I'd have thought crowds are down from the first year of the new ground. Correct - since the new stadium opened, average attendances there for Pro12 regular season games have declined each year. 08/09 25,327 (5 games) 09/10 23,588 (6 games) 10/11 20,180 (7 ga...

Re: All weather pitch RDS?
All things considered the RDS is one of the best pitches around. It's an old-fashioned track and Leinster are all the better for it.

Re: 3 provinces see Pro12 attendance increases-Munster in de
http://www.rabodirectpro12.com/news/16426.php Rabo Site confirms continual rise in attendances or "tickets sold". Small increase true enough but it will be interesting to see Ulsters attendances next season. I bet they will have a very big rise indeed. Certainly for the big games like the...

It would actually have been a disgrace if Bergamasco had been cited.
Now the short-arm, that should have been a citing and a ban.

Re: Contract renewals
One thing that's worried me about McCarthy in the last few games has been his non-existence in the lineout. Haven't got stats, but I'd wager he's far behind POM and D. Ryan in terms of lineout takes. Himself and Roux would find it tough to keep our lineouts steady together I'd wager. Not an issue. ...

Re: Why Conway should/shouldn't wear blue again
Some of the stuff in this thread is really quite sad. Pathetic, actually.
I hope Conway goes to Munster, plays so well they can't leave him out and plays right wing to a reborn Luke Fitz's left next Autumn.

Re: Leinster v Exeter
I thought that was one area we got away with a lot actually, going off the feet at the breakdown. In general it's barely policed at all by any ref, like most things these days, it's a lottery on what rules are enforced, but in the lead up to our last try it was border line comical how lads were jum...

Re: Leinster v. Scarlets
There was a serious lack of urgency about the team in the second half, as if they weren't actually aware that they had a desperate need for tries if they're going to get through.
They should have drop kicked every conversion last night, if even bothering with them at all.

Very few people have an emotional connectioin to the irish soccer team beacuse they all have liverpool accents You reckon? Re: Mike Ross Appreciation Thread!
"The cricked neck which Ross picked up shouldn’t endanger his well-being for Leinster in their upcoming, season-defining games." From the IT today. I thought it was a shoulder injury. I saw it reported that he hurt his neck in the first scrum of the game. Others reported it as a shoulder ...

Blah blah blah... The world is not ending because two cantankerous men play the part of pantomime dames on our sports coverage. I'd rather have RTE's coverage of soccer or rugby, irritating though a couple of characters might be, than the bland nothingness that passes for coverage on BBC, ITV and pr...

Re: New Blue Scoreboards - Now with added Poll
The new scoreboards are useless. Four of us were at the game on Friday in the North stand as usual. None of us could determine the exact time on those new glaring blue things. None of us wear glasses, or need to. We discovered at half time that if you squint it actually comes into focus. Someone mad...
