Re: Leinster vs Northampton Saints

Jaysus. Just watched replay on the box. First half performance at times was much better than I remember it, just a few mistakes killed us. I actually thought before the game we'd win by 10 points but not in that manner. I actually thought if we got an early try in the second half we'd win. Superb sk...

Re: OLSC, WE SALUTE YOU!

Just adding to the many others, fair play to the OLSC all year and for other years (and indeed the Branch). I am a STH for many a year and although I get back from Lahndaan a good bit for the games to be able to rock down to the Stoop and be right in among my lot was fantastic, great noise and colou...

Re: Leicester 10 London Irish 9 - Effect on next week?

Interesting Geordan said that if they (Leicester) play like that next week Leinster would play them off the park. he reckoned they needed a "10 fold" improvement. BOD said we would have to up our game 10-15% from the Munster performance to beat Leicester.

Re: Final - Ticket Lottery

Hmm I do remember being at a game in Newport (before they were the dragons I think) and it was myself and two of my mates for Leinster and some schoolboys from Terenure or somewhere in one of tthe other stand. Leinster scored an intercept try (I think it was Girv) severely against the run of play an...

Re: Ticket Allocation for the Final

Can I beg you all DO NOT BUY from touts. It is my firm belief that there are loads of tickets about. It's just about matching supply and demand. Loads in Munster, (I got a couple of hits from a PM on munsterfans) loads in Scotland and the hardest thing is getting to Edinburgh and to a certain extent...

HK7s a must do, at least once, I finally went last year after promising a pal I'd go for years (always clashed with the HEC), ended up running around Wanchai looking for a bar allegedly showing the q final. Ended up being very down in the dumps as the info came in via text messages.

I'd say Leo and Shane are delighted. Good point! I'm trying to be positive here but we will have to slog it out in our group, at least we have Shane and Leo all ready to be all fired up. WE HAVE TO PUT 10 POINTS over Edinburgh as a start. Anyone any idea when the fixtures are out or even which week...

good point, Glees does ok in that regard but Jenno and Cullen will be really good leaders and, ahem, streetwise.

Wasnt Sunbry Irishs home? Sunbury is in SW London and where LI's admin base still is. Sudbury is in NW London and Wasps were based there when an amateur club. There still is an amateur club, plays in Acton where the main team trains. Used to play for them a few years ago and we ended up back in the...

Believe me Loftus road would be much more convenient to Leinster fans, I was there for a Wasps Bath game years ago, and I live reasonably close to that ground now. I went out to see Connacht and Wasps out in Wycombe in a preseason game a few years ago and it's a good hike out.

the Darce interview was good, he really came across well and fair play for him getting the GOAL plug in as well, even with that ridiculous thing in his hair!

I heard there were 100 flights cancelled in Heathrow today. I was in at 7 am and out at 6pm from work (in Lahndaaaan) but I didn't think it was that bad, maybe I missed the most of it or it's a bit more blustery in west wicklaw..

Don't worry all will be well, the last several away games I have been to we have won (thought about hitting the Edinburgh HEC game but couldn't make it on a sunday). Also west country away games, I'm 100% (ok the two Bath games). All is well trust in BOD and we shall prevail. And to that I should h...

An Laighean Abú would sit in nicely in place of Allez Les Bleu if speaking French is irritating people. I'm sure the author is trying to be really witty but screw him and his "several generations of the most affluent sector of Ireland's demographic" and "It's not their fault they wer...

Mauler I was watching the game on tv and heard the band pretty well and I thought they did well. However, as you mentioned they had a limited repertoire which was ok considering they were all Leinster-ish songs. I have been to a few different big Basque events and their brass bands break into some n...

I like "allez les bleus", chanted to great effect in Toulouse last year in particular. I wouldn't put too much store by 1 post Mr. Anfield. If he comes back and explains why I'll certainly read it, but I think it's fairly entrenched Leinster supporters chant now.

I was just told Lapasset said it will be fine and worked out, apparently there's an emergency meeting in Dublin, maybe it's an extreme bargaining poisition.
