Re: Pubs to watch the games..
Leinster Pub in Wicklow Town. If you're looking to catch any rugby games, call into the Leitrim Lounge in Wicklow Town. I'm just looking for a little feedback here. The owner is considering running buses to games from the Leitrim to the RDS and back and maybe having a few nights with special guests...

Re: Rory Best's Collarbone.
Firstly, hard luck to Best, I'm a big fan and for me his current form is better than a fit and firing Flannery. Himself and our 2 Leinster props have become one of the top front row units in international rugby and were only improving (with thanks to Feek of course). Secondly, I think I remember som...

Re: Leinster v Aironi
I thought Toner put in a good shift, good to see us pull away in the end and get the bonus. Calm heads were needed and we took our tries well.

Re: General World Cup Thread
Think you're being pretty harsh on DO'B, he is lightyears ahead of McGurk. I've been watching it the last couple of weeks and have found it pretty enjoyable, especially having Smidht and previously Ben Kay on board. When I watch McGurk and Hook I spend most of my time pissed off at McGurk for giving...

Isa should be next up at outhalf. He played well there last night and should be ample cover for Madigan. I love the way these two mixed and matched throughout the game also.

Re: Munster -v- Leinster (Celtic Grand Final)
The two weeks off could have had a negative impact though. At this late sage of the season, a week off could switch a few players off mentally, i.e. head is already on vacation. They'll be fresher but our only players who have looked tired and D'Arcy and Drico and out two other options McFadden and O...

Re: Leinster full-back in 2011/12
Rob has a very good step, when he was breaking through back in Donnybrook I remember thinking he had the biggest step I had ever seen in fact. He doesn't utilise it as much as he could but its not the be all and end all of attacking play. Look at Girve and guys like Conrad Smith, they glide / swerve...

Re: Ireland World Cup 2011 Thread
I'd be fairly certain Leamy will travel. Hes a Kidney player, and in fairness he won't let us down. Hes not playing as well as Locky, Jennings or Coughlan but I think he'll travel nonetheless. Ferris has been out a lot this season and I hope it means his body will have had time to recuperate, along ...

I can't remember where I saw it but I definitely recall seeing it somewhere. Its a big step down capacity wise from the Milennium, Twickenham and Stade de France although its respectable compared to Murrayfield.

Richie McCaw is perplexed at how he didn't win this one, the New Zealand public are in outrage .
Well done Séan O'Brien, truly a season for the record books and you can go on and make this the first step on an upward trend! Unleash the Beast!

Re: Leinster squad for next season 2011/12 (so far)
Smidhts finding of Shawe and Dundon and to a lesser extent Auva'a and Riordan in the AIL has proved pretty good investments for getting some aged experience in to help us out in times of need. These guys are good cover against the less exceptional sides and are probably living the dream playing/trai...

Re: Leinster squad for next season 2011/12 (so far)
Excellent summary Hugonaut. Connacht could do with a couple of good players from our academy system, I would like to see those who look to England offered good contracts out west. If they are good enough cover for Leicester or Sale then they can play a role with Connacht. And probably start in HEC g...

Re: Ireland World Cup 2011 Thread
Horgan has really earned a spot, and the more I think about it, the more I think McFadden should travel. He is by far the best cover for 13 and with BOD being rested on occasion he could slot in seamlessly. His ability to play across the 3/4 line is an excellent bench option too.

Re: Heineken Cup Venue
I'm pretty sure the ERC have confirmed at some stage that the Aviva will never be used for a HEC final due to its inadequate size. Croke park as you say would be extortionate and the GAA might not budge so much in the case it could be a Leicester Norhthampton Final for instance. Its a very unfortuna...

Re: Kearney to Play for Stormers?
He'll get gametime, McFadden is in a similar situation and has got a few games. Rob on form is one of the best fullbacks in world rugby and I fully expect him to reestablish himself there with us. At the start of the season he was starting with Isa on the wing. Think we could be looking at Lukey and...

Re: Pictures on the Wall
Has to be the team celebrating from behind with the champagne glowing. Great atmospheric picture and you can see the camaraderie of the whole squad in it, no faces just blue jerseys celebrating together. Sums up the squad depth and unity of purpose which Joe has instilled in us this year and which p...

Thanks Saints, you really put it up to us. We know from last year how it feels to get to a final and a semi-final and come away with nothing. Use it as motivation to come back next year and hopefully we'll see you in the final again!

Re: Munster v Leinster Part 11 - By "sid"
The scrum was a worry but can wait until the off season, Munster will not test us there. Jennings to come in and rest BOD, he doesn't seem fully fit despite some nice touches. Simple plan, come out and bully Munster from the off, don't let them near the ball and use our bench well in the second half...
