Re: Challenge/Heneken Cup Final Tickets
Hey all, we’ve 15 STHs in our group. We’ve gotten 14 tickets. If anyone knows of a spare we’d really appreciate it. It would be crappy if we ended up with one of the gang missing out. We’re full time terrace dwellers so this isn’t for any casuals or anything….thank you!!!!

Re: Supporters First - Replacing The Scourge of Stadium Announcers
The atmosphere thing is tricky. I do think Irish fans tend to be very conservative and don’t tend to get too into that stuff, unlike the French. But as the French have proven, it doesn’t need to be complicated or flashy or even original. It just needs buy in. I’ve always liked the idea of an Irish ...

Re: Leinster v Bulls Friday RDS 19:35 TG4
A flat track bully is someone who looks really good until they get to top level opposition, where they look average or poor. So someone who you might perceive should be good against top level opposition but just can’t make that step up despite dominating in other games. Probably not a wildly unfair ...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Heineken Cup Final Sat 28th May 4.45 Marseille
Hopefully La Rochelle's penalty count comes back to haunt them. Yep, one or two more early ones in second half will surely lead to a card. Barnes has had a few words with their players too. They’ve been pretty cynical in their 22. Happy to give away penalties to prevent tries. Even their free at th...

Re: Leinster v Munster, URC Final Round, Sat. 21st May, 7:15pm, Aviva
Being honest, they looked about 3 to 6 months away from hearing a big CLICK, and then they’ll be good again… I’m not so sure. We’ve seen glimpses of what they’ve been trying to do at various times throughout the season, even early on in the season. If it was going to click it would have done so by ...

Re: Leinster v Munster, URC Final Round, Sat. 21st May, 7:15pm, Aviva
It's a common problem when you start to change the system. It takes a while to get it right. Some parts will look better fast, but against a defence that knows how to play that way they will be a step ahead. Leinster 2nds train against a well executed version of that. I thought Murray played okay b...

Re: Leinster v Munster, URC Final Round, Sat. 21st May, 7:15pm, Aviva
Am I the only one who thought Murray looked good on Saturday? He’s never been a pacey kind of 9 but I thought he was pretty sharp overall. He was operating in a Munster side that simply weren’t delivering. Some of the stuff was strange. Numerous times they had 5 men securing a ruck that Leinster wer...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
Isn't releasing extra tickets or dropping prices at the discretion of erc so nothing leinster can do about it anyway? Yes it is. Can’t understand people directing ire at Leinster for what we all know is an EPCR event. Seems that they’ve opened a bunch more seats at the back of the East Upper that h...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
A lot of blue dots there on Ticketmaster’s website alright. Outside of the South Lower there isn’t much. And the South Lower is not the cheapest section, nor the best, so it’s the last section to appear on the Ticketmaster site unless you’re looking specifically for it. If they can shift a bunch of...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
The marketing and PR is definitely substandard at Leinster and, also, rather embarrassing. Their weird obsession with "the lads" in social media posts is probably the worst I've seen from any club in any sport, anywhere. Look at the lads. Ah, the lads. Aren't the lads deadly? They're grea...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
There aren't actually that many tickets available looking at ticketmaster. Unless you want to pay for premium or be up in the gods, the South Lower is the only option. If there's only 30,000 sold, there must be a lot of tickets unreleased. If they had passed 35k we'd know about it.. maybe we will b...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
Just for the record, boards isn’t a place where there is some sort of singular group think on every matter. A few people are calling Doris poor, even more are calling that out as nonsense and a couple are calling out that while he’s very good he has developed a tendency for losing the ball in contac...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
To play the way we want to play in attack you need Positive collisions Quick ruck ball Quick reload and realign They're all equally important and i think the third one gets underplayed a lot. Against a big team there are ways of mitigating the size/power differential, but it means moving the opposi...

Re: Leinster v Toulouse HC SF Sat 14th May 3:00pm
Block 505 Row C sorted. Looking forward to this one. Toulouse had to deal with a lot of ball in play, both generally and because of ET (almost 60% more ball in play time than in our game). They were looking tired before the 80 was up. Combine that with the extra travel and we should be looking to k...

Anyone booked flights and accommodations for this yet? Just looking now. Crazy money into Easy Midlands but Birmingham is an option. Never been to Welford Rd and it’s one on the bucket list.

Re: Leinster v Bulls Aviva Stadium 5.15 Sat 25th Sept TG4
One of Adamson's calls that was total bullshit was the obstruction one on JGP. He didn't move at all, Bulls player ran into him. There will always be errors from officials. As long as they are consistent and are getting decisions right in the main then that’s all we can reasonably expect. I thought...
