Re: Leinster v Salarysins
Sarries were so impressively relentless, everything we did was under pressure. Literally right from the kick off. We had lot of handling error turnovers and poor maul return but cant look past the utter dominance at scrum time as the major factor in the game. We've seen this play out now for both i...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins
4 weeks is a very long time and if cases rise dramatically here there is simple no way it will go ahead - just mention risk or fiduciary duty at a meeting and they will all kick to touch and stop the game (Please excuse the pathetic rugby pun). Going to be a long 4 weeks waiting to see how this pan...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins
Italy had 62 cases 2 weeks ago; now has 7300+. I realise Italy was probably caught behind the curve - but 4 weeks is a long time.carlow man wrote:Still 4 weeks away. I'd say it will go ahead as planned. No different to games being played this weekend in england with the premiership or the 6 nations matches.

I'd agree; as did just under 8k look about right for the Cheetahs game. The Doc wrote:I was there on Friday... 13k sounds about right from what I saw.Dave Cahill wrote:
There is no way on god's green earth that there was 13k in either the RDS or Thomond Park this weekend.

A scarcely credible quoted 13k+ at that "match" ?wixfjord wrote:I'm not sure we have much to mock when it comes to attendances...OTT wrote:It being played behind closed doors because of the coronavirus hasn’t helped.

Frawley, and JCB.. seriously bad passing at times. Hopefully get it together and half time and use the wind smartly in the second half.

I thought I was dreaming; then checked my own previous post. Jaco Peyper. Anything could happen.

Re: Ireland v Wales Sat 2.15
Agree OS on Henshaw; he surely would have been MOTM if he continued for the full game. 90metres, in 45 mins; joint second in metres made for Ireland (Larmour 103, Aki 90). His carries were mostly in heavy traffic, showed great power, nice footwork and was always looking for the offload. Parkes was W...

You're borderline delusional.Oldschool wrote:Cooney and Byrne on the pitch five minutes and try scored.
Imagine what they could do in 80 minutes.
D'Arcy put it very well, it depends on what colour glasses you're wearing.

Re: Ireland v Wales Sat 2.15
Almost, but not quite; in addition Beirne, Best, SOB vs Hendo, Herring, VDF. Dynamic was also different, Gatlands last home game, GS game, Irelands 6n never got started after being bullied and beaten by England matchday 1. I'm living in hope rather than expectation, and I also hope Murray (and other...

Lads you're fiddling while Rome burns or is it the band played on while the Titanic sank. Murray is the elephant in the room that most of you seem to be afraid to address. The various points/suggestions re the pack are all worthy topics for discussion. However when the ball gets to the Murray, It'l...

2 possessions in first 5 mins. Murray kicks both away - badly. Hopefully not signs of things to come..

Re: 6 Nations 2020
Just saw the 6 refs for our games. Can't believe Jaco Peyper is still rated enough to referee test matches (or any match for that matter), least of all England v Ireland in Twickenham. https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/international/men-in-black-the-referees-for-ireland-s-six-nations-games-1.41...

Re: 6 Nations 2020
Close; Ryan made his debut v USA in June 2017 at a 20 yr old (just), he would have turned 21 in July, and made his 6N debut as a 21 yr old. Doris was 21 in April 2019 I think; so a few months older when (if) he makes his debut this 6N.
