Re: IRB World Rankings

As far as I know Summer tests count. RWC games have an extra weighting too. Double points for RWC games as far as I know. This is all true but not what was asked. :) OK Seeing as no one else has bothered. Ireland fell from 4th to 8th during August 2011 after losing to Scotland, France (twice) and E...

Re: Ireland six nations champions!

the last two years has produced sensational drama on the last day....I wouldn't go with bonus points....mainly because of the home/away thing on alternate years. making a try 7 points might be a smarter way to go. 3 penalties to make up 1 try - a no brainer. as an aside....am really dissapointed ar...

Re: 6 Nations 2015

Youngs sounded a bit tongue in cheek, brown's certainly didn't. However the effort or rather lack of it that Italy put in that second half and Scotland all game was terrible. The scots looked scared to tackle SOB and their scramble defence was little short of pathetic. Ireland were the best team ov...

Re: Wayne Barnes

I still can't understand what he was doing. I can only imagine how the WRU or RFU or their employees would have reacted had either of their teams been on the receiving end of something like that. If an isolated call gets ballsed up you can understand - a momentary lapse. But Barnes botched almost ev...

Re: Ireland six nations champions!

Liam Toland made a good point about the Heaslip tackle. He asked himself if Denton would go to such lengths on the other side and the answer was no, the effort our lads put in is incredible. That is the biggest condemnation of a side you can offer, yes Ireland have better players, yes Ireland had b...

Re: Wasps vs Leinster

There's a lot of talk about how our missed opportunities cost us the game, but I can't help but think that's only one part of it. The other part is the scores we conceded. We kicked poorly a lot again today and invited them back into the game. They were going nowhere for most of the 3rd quarter and...

The US first amendment does not give carte blanche to free speech, and categories other than defamation are excluded. Free speech may be one of the central 'tenants' of Western civilization, but that doesn't mean that restrictions aren't appropriate in certain circumstances. If people are ignorant ...

Re: Munster 2014/2015

I dunno, it was an odd game. They got sucker punched at the end of the first half with that try. I thought that was the winning of the game there. Took the pressure of Clermont a bit. agree with this. that match was winnable. as an aside - despite all the tv pundits purring about ASM they still loo...

However whereas those threads concentrate on his perceived ineptitude as a coach and the perceived style of play he is striving to implement, this thread concentrates SOLELY on the potentially negative financial effect of retaining MOC. Stating a link does not prove the link. The thread is dependen...

Kimmage having a cut at BOD now. Re: Time to go MOC

Tony Ward has a piece in tomorrows Independent telling Leinster fans to stop whining about MOC. Might be interesting to see how he justifies MOC and his puke rugby. Just trying to find an alternative angle, no doubt. MOC has lost the media battle, sure even the venerable George Hook was wondering h...

Re: POLL - Match Attendance

Attending matches depends more on family and work logistics than anything else as I live in the UK. So for me, the question doesn't address the issue it's supposed to. My answer is that I don't know, just like it always is. The idea of not supporting Leinster is laughable, no matter how low we sink....

You could always go to the Sarries website (distasteful I know) and purchase anonymously for collection at the ground. Then you get to pick your seat.

rumour out there at conway could be coming back, which would be odd but there ya go. I would be delighted to see him back. Badly needed and should never have gone in the first place.
