Re: A whiff of Cordite
The Irish Time rugby podcast "The Counter Ruck" poses the question is the central contract system broken? Question, who won back to back 6 Nations? To me the short answer is, that it's working. What is broken is other provinces development of players, and I would posit that Munster aren't...

Worth a watch, from Michael Cheka.
The difference in what he says – they're where we want to be, let's get there – and what you hear at the moment from whingers left, right and centre is stark.

Re: Central Contracts
Awful awful lot of talk around this on social media at the moment. Feel like a large part of the issue is the fact that each central contract is publicly announced in the first place. Quick fix in my eyes: - Increase the number of central contracts to 30 - Minimum 5 per province - Wages in every co...

Re: Ulster 2023/24
Wonder will Murphy stay on in any capacity if true or head back to the U20s? He's too good to be bumped around as IRFUs supply teacher.

Re: New contracts for coaching ticket
My goodness but aren't new coaches getting very young? Like Guards I suppose. TB retired at 29 after a 5 year injury ruined run with Munster. He did coaching badges while still at Munster. That doesn’t make him any older. If you’re good enough etc etc Though I went for a job interview two weeks ago...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2
The travel that La Rochelle have done in the last 10 days will have to weigh on them and I'd expect their fitness to falter in the final 30 mins. Target the guys most likely to play the full 80 and mess with the bench plan as much as possible.

Re: Leinster vs Bulls, March 29th, 7.35pm
Russell and Turner are having great seasons Great players. Unfortunately I think size is their biggest enemy for kicking on to the next level. It's not out of reach as many smaller players have excelled but the challenge is far greater. I don't think that is a problem for Russell. Definitely less s...

Still getting the same issues on desktop browser and seems to affect page loading at times with formatting/images all wrong. IS it possible that the cert used is suitable for mobile but not desktops? I don't have issues on mobile or desktop and it doesn't seem to affect the majority on here... Whic...
