Re: Champions Cup 2020

The back to back game in the middle of the pool stages was special, if there all back to backs none of them are special. More tweaks to take more shine off the competition.

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19

Munster fans losing their sh*t over the ref, I think he had a poor enough game, but I don't think it was in any way one sided, but I get their frustration, there were some pretty unlucky calls that they could have gotten away with another day, the Earls "try" for example, he got the decis...

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

Don't need to reread it, I just didn't think it made sense that you'd give out about the feed being crooked if the solution was to be strict on the law as opposed to going back to the old one. The law is there to give the advantage to the team feeding it, that's pretty much the point. It also has t...

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

Regarding the scrum. POM's bind was on Archer the prop, not on the 2nd row. POM using his Left arm bound around the leg of the Prop (Archer), so Leinster's prop was effectively scrummaging against 2 men. Highly illegal and was not picked up by the referee's , you can be sure POM will not be allowed ...

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

The below is based on what I think Leinster will do, rather than it being my preference. 15. Rob Kearney (199) 14. Fergus McFadden (172) 13. Rory O’Loughlin (45) 12. Robbie Henshaw (27) 11. Dave Kearney 10. Ross Byrne (53) 9. Luke McGrath 1. Jack McGrath (133) 2. James Tracy (70) 3. Michael Bent (1...

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

I agree, I don't see him ever coming back to Leinster. I won't treat him different to anyone else in red, from Stringer to POC, from Conway to Carbery, they're all Munster now and there'll be no special treatment.

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

If he does start or come on, I hope Joey gets a good reception from us Leinster faithful. Who knows what could happen down the road.. I am sure he won't get a bad reception but I don't know if I am ready to celebrate him playing for Munster yet either. More importantly I hope our back row let him k...

Re: Connacht Away Sept 29th 5.15

Connacht scored a soft enough penalty after 3 minutes and then we kept them scoreless for the rest of the match. They were very cynical in defense and conceded a high number of penalties in their own 22 in both halves; realistically Lacey should have given a yellow purely for the number of penaltie...

Re: Connacht Away Sept 29th 5.15

Watched the game again this morning and I have to say I still think Tomane had a good game. Looked fairly tentative at times but made his tackles, rucked well and linked well with Sexton. Not sure where this criticism is coming from. He has improved and will improve again over the next few weeks ho...

Re: Munster in the Aviva 2018 Edition

This is a must win game. Maybe not in the context of us needing the league points, but in every other way its a must win game. If you don't believe me, ask Johnny.

Re: The Province Formerly Known As Munster 2018-19

Ah yes but that defeat to Wasp's with the yellow cards flying around, was glorious. Pure unadulterated pusson and pride and d'glory. Leinster could never hope to be beaten like that. Sure the hole country was busting with d'pride . Da anglo Saxons were taught a lesson they'd never forget. Twas glori...

Re: Connacht 2018-19

None of the Provinces relish playing Connacht especially at the Show Ground as they are always expected to win but the players and coaches all know that this is a potential banana skin. If they win the fans attitude is sure it was only Connacht you beat and if they lose then they never should have ...
