Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
I think the problem with DeAllande for some less educated fans is that he doesn’t carry 100 metres a game and smash opposition, so they equate this as being poor. I have also heard this from Johnny come lately Munster fans, so not a dig at Leinster fans just in case I get misinterpreted. For me DeA...

I would be trying to get Baird, Connors and J Murphy on the pitch for this one. About 4 players worth of energy, strength and nuisance.

Please don't start another conversation about school. PLEASE. I had a friend was a big baseball player back in high school. He could throw that speedball by you, make you look like a fool boy Saw him the other night at this roadside bar I was walking in, he was walking out, we went back inside sat ...

I'd have Frawley at 10, 12 & 15, with JVdF at 7 & 9.

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21
That's the tough reality laid bare. I can't see POM & Earls being kept on at Munsters expense, but could see Stander staying. This will be the first year we see every players looking for one year deals in the hope of the game being in a better place next year, the IRFU will be trying where possible ...

Woodkid's got range. Very enjoyable, likes a bit of brass too.

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Tracey is the worst of a bad batch of Irish lineout throwers. Must be so demoralising to lose every lineout. You must have your eyes closed when kelleher is throwing as hes worse than Tracey. I think Tracey has actually been our most consistent thrower in the last 12 months. I'm sure not that long ...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Lads I haven't weighed in on this yet because I still kind of think it's a joke, but why is Ross starting at 13? It's such an incredibly weird decision, can anyone fathom some logic behind it? I was in this boat, but he was tidy enough when he was shallow enough to be in frame. Tidy break, deft kic...

Re: Donald Trump - Have your say.
Yup, I fully expected a stunt of some magnitude but it turned out he’s far too inept to stage a coup. Frightening to see the police opening up the fences, letting the mob through and taking selfies with the seditionists. A massive contrast with the teargassing of BLM protesters in Lafayette square ...

Re: Heineken Cup 2020/21
Anyone else have a bad feeling that this years Cup might be cancelled altogether? We have already seen a couple of big results due to matches being cancelled, so this years cup has a lot less credit anyway, but a few more games like that and it will have lost all credibility IMO. Could not care les...

Very interesting Wixfjord, and thanks for spending your time doing that analysis. From my perspective, Sexton's body language very obviously tends towards the negative on the pitch and this colours a lot of views on him. He shows all his stresses. Other people temper their reactions to show less of...

Re: Leinster v Connacht Sat 2nd 19.35 Eir Sport
Joe Schmidt used to manufacture a poor performance when needed. I don't wish to take away from Connacht's dominant performance, but it is good timing for a kick up the arse. We've played within ourselves and yet continued to win over the past few weeks.

How you feel about hookers? Mullet! It also looks like Leinster will have Ireland's first choice hooker for the coming years (and possibly second choice too in time) I think the 2nd choice will be 1st shortly. Did you see the player value graphic for the pro##, prem and T14? Hookers are the lowest ...

Re: Leinster Squad 20-21
Penny is a solid 5'11"/6'0". Opensides don't actually need to be 6'2". George Smith, Michael Hooper and Heinrich Brussouw are 5'11", Phil Waugh is 5'9", and David Pocock is variously listed as 6'0" or 6'1". All of those guys were world class in their position at their peak (Hooper still is). Other ...

Re: Leinster Squad 20-21
They've got David McCann coming through at No.8. He looked a real blue chip prospect when captaining the U-20's last season. They should be looking to back him rather than importing yet another solution. He's a fantastic player but is still only 20, and not an immediate replacement for their best p...

My ability to fill a recycling bin is unsurpassed and a weird dichotomy to my tetris skills. Recycling is pointless scam. Jesus 2020's taken its toll on you! I'm not sure of the percentage of recyclable material comes out of the trommel in a recycling plant, but it is a lot of material that is reso...
