Re: Friday's Rave

Slowly getting back into the forum. Made a concious effort to be offline for over a year, too much noise. Revisiting the less toxic environments now.

Re: 6 Nations 2023 - Ireland

Timoney not being there probably surprises me the most. Agree POM, Baird and Prendergast is a bit of a surfeit of 6s. Stockdale seems sort of a luxury, given we have Lowe, Hansen who play LW and JOB to cover FB. Loughman is unlucky to be injured at the wrong time. Faz is very ready to give you a ch...

BBC News - Russian sausage tycoon Pavel Antov dies in Indian hotel fall https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-64101437 Another Russian tycoon falls from a window. And his friend, Vladimir Boudanov died at the same hotel two days earlier. Russia is a terrorist state led by a cabal of murderers. Gi...

On the basis of the 20 minute cameo Big Stu gave against the Boks, where to me he looked liked Ireland's best player, Dave could well be right.

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

Listened to eggchasers for the first time, complete tripe. They said the reason that the prem is the most competitive league in the world is because all of the teams spend the same amount after which when discussing permutations for the finals they dismissed half of the 8 in contention as mere speed...

Felipe leaving confirmee by Leinster. Noel Mc to replace him? https://www.leinsterrugby.ie/felipe-contepomi-to-leave-leinster-rugby/ That's a huge loss for us. The way we played last weekend was as good as I've seen as a Leinster fan and Felipe is why that happened. 100%! Thanks for everything, Fel...

Have to say, I agree with BTTV's Jason/myself's perspective on this. Leo has little to no experience of being the CEO of an organisation, not sure if this is a shrewd move.

Weirdly, the newly added episode (#386) on podcast addict is from last season even though it has the correct description.

Should clubs be fined for their players' high tackles/red cards? I've read this in a couple of opinion pieces recently, and I think it has some merit. That round of European games drove home for me that the current sanctions are *not* working well enough, because there were five red cards in eight ...

There are actually lots of Nazi's in Ukraine. Potentially as much as 2%.The Neo nazis in Ukraine stood for election and got 2% of the vote. The didn't win any seats. Meanwhile, in Russia, the fascist dictator that has been in power since the 90s murders his opponents, arrests people for free speech...
