You try reset to default on the TV and start again

Re: Celtic Cup 19/20

How many will they take to Canada, though? Around 30 maybe? There could be a few senior squad or academy backs knocking around. Even if there aren't would the likes of David Ryan and Adam la Grue not be more likely than O'Gara and Faria? O'Gara and Faria are better prospects than Ryan, who chance h...

Hope for more Sport Ireland $$$s as it's an olympic sport and one women have a good shot at being successful at cheaper/quicker than 15s? You have to make it there though to get the cash, and we haven't yet. The women were successful at XVs, they beat NZ, won knockout games at world cups, grand sla...

Re: Academy 2018/2019

John McKee and Cormac Foley were told that they would get academy by the Leinster coaches earlier on in the season and they told their family and all and then the Irfu rejected it after them telling their parents That would add up... what an utter disgrace any reason given? A place in another acade...

Re: Dan Leavy

Single plane work isn't massively advanced. It's effectively knee flexion with resistance. It's the jumping/landing/high force stuff that's hugely more demanding - then changing direction after that. Neither particularly good or bad sign really. To basically echo this Leavys injury to put it in its...

Re: Celtic Cup 19/20

So the first game occurs when the senior team is in canada, so I'd expect that team to be almost completely an under-20 side with possibly some JWC returnees. Possible side: 1. Harry Noonan(Greystones/Old Wesley) 2. Bobby Sheehan(Clongowes/UCD) 3. Charlie Ward(Tullow/Clontarf) 4. Cian Prendergast(N...

Re: Only 6 NIE players left in Irish pro rugby next season

Or you could also look at it from the point of view that we could sign players for the benefit of team "culture" An Isa or a Pienaar or a Howlett who not only plug gaps but drive the team on. Especially when the International players are away. You only need one or 2. I'd love to see Fardy...

Correct about the changes Dave being mentioned earlier in the year, on that basis it was just a swap of Ospreys and Scarlets

Hearing rumours that insurance payout has been offered to Leavy on his injury When is his contract up though, that could be a big problem for him if it is up this season. He signed a new contract this season pre-injury He is safe enough then to keep with the rehab and see how it goes, I think it se...

Re: Pro 14 - General Thread

San Siro would also be a huge risk for a Pro14 final. What happens if no Irish or no Italian team gets there and you're left with 20k in an 80k stadium? The optics would be terrible. Even the two football teams have trouble 3/4s filling it. They are actually looking to build a better, reduced capac...

All the best folks, it is going to be a very similar game to the Ulster quarter final, tackle after tackle, they are the only English side that can stick with that sort of tackle count, going to be close and hard fought for every point but I think you will win.

Re: Ulster 2018-2019

Good to see Coetzee having a good run for Ulster. He started playing 2 years after he arrived. Listening to interviews with him he sounded almost guilty to be pickng up his wages every month. Powerful man. He has also signed a 3 year contract at a lot less than he could have got elsewhere to repay ...

Ferg cited. Stupidity personified from him. He's nailed on to get a ban that will rule him out for the season, and we could really have done with him as an option with Byrne and Daly likely out too. Not surprised, AR had a clear view, as did about half of the West side supporters. It was seriously ...
