Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May
I ended buying €38 tickets where they started in the Canal End. So basically the person sitting beside me has a €55 ticket. It's not too bad but I think 75 euro for all tickets at the sides is total gouging.

The pre-sale is totally sh1t... in a nutshell.
I'll probably wait for a bit and see if we can get any reasonably good seats at a reasonable price. Paying €300+ fees for 4 tickets is not an option for me right now.
It was approx €100 for the QF

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Can we ease up a bit on the search for victimhood? I find it irritating in Munster fans, I’m not fond of it anywhere. The irony is. The people who complain the most about munster fans are the same people who are whinging about bias in commentary/punditry/chyte on twitter. You basically have to prai...

Re: A whiff of Cordite
Watched Saturday's game again last night. Normally I find Lenihan to be fairly balanced but can't stand the sound of Cahill's voice. Surprisingly thought that Cahill was the balanced one on Saturday. Lenihan sounded like a child that spent the week before Christmas in Santa's toy factory and then w...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May
Not sure how reliable this is, but I have heard that tickets will go on public sale at 10am on Friday and are an average of €10 cheaper than for last year's semi-final at the Aviva Stadium - down on average from €49 to €39. Premium tickets this time around are priced at €90 for Premium, Category 1 ...

Re: Lions v Leinster - Sat 20 April, 14.00 - RTE2
It would mean sending a bigger squad and paying for extra flights. Not everyone can afford a week in Fota to save 6 hours travel time. Jenkins has played 3 weeks in a row, 15 games this season and with Ryan gone we're tighter at lock. The only upside is that he'd be glad of a trip home. If we don't...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2
I don't really buy this idea of ROG as a cheque book coach. He joins La Rochelle ahead of the 2019-20 season with Jonno Gibes as his Director of Rugby. Then he becomes top dog for the 2021-22 season. He certainly hasn't signed most of their best players. Botia and Atonio are over a decade at La Roc...

Re: Croke Park to host major Leinster rugby games
I hope I’m wrong but I really can’t see us getting more than 50k to Croke Park. ERC is organising which won’t help. The best hope is group offers and deeply discounted tickets. I think Nowlan Park would have been a much better option IMHO. Appreciate the immediate financial considerations but takin...

Re: European Champions Cup 23/24
It's the incompetent EPCR that have made a mockery of the competition, the Bulls have just highlighted it.
Remember the time Montpellier were afraid to play Leinster and the clowns awarded them a BP win?

Plus you have Saudi Arabia United in the NE of England. You know the lads with the black and white striped shirts?

Re: European Champions Cup 23/24
Lucky us that they've already effectively killed the Heineken Cup then! The European Cup is on the ground but still just about alive and kicking, mainly because of the Irish clubs (Aviva crowd last weekend, lots of travelling Munster supporters in Northampton). It looks like they're trying to strik...

Luke Marshall retiring at the end of the season. Injuries really did for what could have been an incredible career - he looked like an amazing player at u20 levels, by some considerable distance the best young player in Ireland Don't know if you remember his performance for the Lein/ulster combo at...

Re: Munster 2023/2024 - Return of the Jedi????
As you would expect from Munster, nothing was left on the pitch effort wise but unfortunately they just lack quality and depth and the years of the academy not producing a conveyor belt is coming home to roost for both them and Ireland (same is true of Ulster in my view). Blood and guts only gets y...

Re: Leinster v Leicester - Sat 6 April, 20.00 RTE2
Looking at the outcomes and body language on Saturday evening and reviewing both since, that performance had all the hallmarks of a week of low, or no, emotional preparation what so ever. That may have been a gamble, but with the second-half against Bulls in the recent memory bank, they would have ...
