Re: O'Connell not cited

It seems ERC has decided to punish POC at a level never ever reached. They could have protected him with a 2 weeks ban, and rather they just told an opponent (say... Jamie Cudmore) that it's OK to kick a ball whatever is between your leg and the ball. Now we need the referee to know that evolution. ...

Re: ERC Ranking 13/14

(..) Blanco seems to be as influential a power broker as he was brilliant as a player. Blanco's facts : Blanco alters the structure of the gravity field around the balls when it comes to create groups. No other rational explanation has been found since. Influence might be the colloquial equivalent ...

Re: ERC Ranking 13/14

How are Biarritz a number one seed? They are rubbish. They keep getting easy groups and reaching the ko stages. They've also reached a final recently (2010) and won the Amlin (2012). That's 15 ranking points just from those two seasons. An Italian team in their group 8 out of the last 9 seasons. An...

Re: Leinster v Exeter

Exeter will collapse after the hour... they did at Michelin. I wouldn't say "be patient" but rather "keep pressure on them". There is only one seat now on the best second bench. Munster or Leinster as there will be no best second between Toulouse or Leicester, and I don't expect ...

Re: Sexton off to France???

whatever the financial reasons to leave Dublin, I think Sexton would make a mistake going to Racing-Métro. He won't win anything but money. He would be better at ASM :) learning french with Nathan Hines, giving some lesson-to-become-better-10 to Brock James, playing with new world-class Fofana... an...

Re: Leinster v Exeter

keep hope... get the win + bonus point to reach 20 pts, then come back again at Clermont-ferrand for the 1/4 final :D To be honest, I think that's very very likely to happen. I think we can be 1st or 2nd and we will meet one of the best 2nd of pool, ie you or Montpellier or Toulouse or Munster. I pr...

Re: Heineken Cup - Leinster V ASM Clermont Auvergne

whatever is happening on the pitch you MUST be the 16th man... the extra smallest piece of strength when players are exhausted, they get it from you because your encouraging voice is their fuel when nothing else is remaining in the tank. unconditionnaly support. They do their job, we do ours. We di...

Re: Heineken Cup - Leinster V ASM Clermont Auvergne

Where are all the people who bang on about 'moving all our games to the Aviva' ? ... Well, the ASM fans didn't seem to have a problem with the stadium. When supporters chant at lansdowne road, the noise is deafening. If our fans don't cheer then the atmosphere isn't going to happen, don't think it'...

Re: Clermont - The Game

Don't want to put a downer on things, but on the issue of fans, was anyone else disappointed by the Clermont supporters? I have to say I wasn't impressed, I know it was a big game with big pressure, but the booing every penalty that went against them was just a bit much. We had the feelings that Mr...

cardiff were poorer, but sarries are no great shakes hopefully asm really do believe that the level required to beat sarries at home is enough Some fans do believe in such way, but not many, and the most important NOT a single one player believe that. They ask for Leinster fans to join them to walk to the stadium...

Something about jumping if you have someone elses pen
"qui ne saute pas, n'est pas auvergnat !"
"Who doesn't jump is not Auvergnat" Auvergnat is the name of people in Auvergne (one of the 20 regions in France)

Re: Congratulation from ASM Clermont Auvergne fans!

What a magnificent game ! Congratulations Leinster ! The European champion title is well deserved, and even better due to the opposition. Northampton did push you beyond the limits, and you did it ! That was a GREAT match ! In such game, even the loser can be proud. Same as we were last year at RDS ...

Baby is able of outstanding performance... or the crappiest ever possible. He is just unpredictable. You never know if he is on the dark or the bright side of the force. Seems he was on the bright side last two games he played. Anyway, I hope we'll be proud of our team, as we were in April despite t...
