Re: Scrum Halves

In fairness to Stringer, he does have a sharper pass, which is the bread and butter of a scrum-half, but Reddan offers the break that Stringer doesnt and this not only offers more line breaks, but also keeps the opposition pillars and back row honest at ruck time, giving more space to ROG and the ou...

Whatever you do, stick to British or Australian supplements.....the American supplements industry is essentially self-regulated meaning some of the stuff coming out of there is risky.

Well done to all our Swirvin' Girvans... Everyone should be very proud of themselves-to come so close is disappointing but in fairness, the improvement we showed through the competition is testament you guys, especially those who were dedicated and went training i.e. NOT ME!! I enjoyed all your comp...

Great win guys!! My thoughts: We were by far the better team, but we did get far too hot-headed in the match, myself included. We should have hockeyed that team. Our defence again I thought was spot on, but the pace of the game was so slow that attacking wise we didnt/couldnt create as much as we pr...

All in all I had a great time last night...twas great craic, and Beer 'Killer' Baron...love it mate!! Rugbywise, our defence is dodge city, but its predominantly down to fitness more than anything else. Attack wise, I thought we were good....just need to remember to provide different lines, and stop...

A smashing idea ! If Affluent RFC can get it together, its something that should be looked at seriously. Ok, I've probably been thinking waaaay too much about this (but then again if you're like me and sitting in work til midnight every night, you have time to contemplate things). Couple of ideas f...

How early in the season did Cill Dara play Skerries? Last game before Christmas, Skerries league form in the New Year has been impressive but this is cup rugby and Beechpark is a difficult ground to win in, it's only 4 years old as a ground and a Dublin club has to register a win there and that inc...

I wouldnt be as confident as others to be honest. As I said on another thread, Wasps are very dynamic at the breakdown and give away huge amounts of penalties there too. This will be detrimental to our style of play that revolves around getting quick ball to our backs from ruck situations. As highli...

Dublin junior teams don't travel and they will find the wind farm at Beechfarm very difficult. Not to mention Cill Dara already dismantled Skerries pack this season, hard to see anything but a home win.

wasps give away so many penalties at the breakdown its unbelievable....could be a good thing for us and taking quick taps etc., but i would be fearful that it'll slow the game down drastically and means we mightent get quick ball like we need to beat them out wide.
