Re: Leinster Rugby's historic 2017/18 double-winning season

I don't agree with a lot of the criticism MI has of Leinster Rugby's media, but I would be massively surprised and astonished if anyone had any creative or editorial control of that production other than Leinster Rugby. Why use an external production company then? Outsourcing - LR are hardly likely...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Because playing a rugby game is not restricting your movement and avoiding social situations. It also absolutely definitely involves doing two of the 'do nots'. 'Do not visit others,' being the blindingly obvious one. 'Do not meet face-to-face with anyone who is at higher risk from coronavirus to y...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

What you are suggesting would not comply with the current guidelines on people arriving into Ireland: I know because I went through them. So what you are suggesting is an exception for a rugby team. How does it not comply with current guidelines.... Most people who arrive in Ireland from another co...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

They wouldn't have to do it in the middle of a game. Their last prem fixture is 31st of August. They have 3 days to get over here and isolate for 2 weeks. That might work as a solution for you, but I don't see how we can expect Saracens to come here for two weeks before the game, for one game. Beyo...

They can come over day before and go home day after. Just not go down Grafton Street for coffees Sent from my SM-G950F ...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

This might be a lot trickier to get across the line than previously imagined - it will be the first meeting of an extremely high Covid rate team (UK) with a relatively low one in Europe? And as I understand it, even with all the measures in place in the Premier League they get about one player a we...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

BTW, 'segregate', 'cocoon' 'bubble' and 'isolate', what's the difference between these? Maybe they can segregate the bubble and cocoon while in isolation. That should do it. Cocooning means not leaving the house for any reason - as was / is the case with "at risk" people. If you come from th...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Certainly, I cannot see how the provinces or national side can expect to compete if there is no travel without a two-week movement restriction. There isn't a two week movement restriction. If you travel here from the UK, you have to segregate (not fully cocoon) for up 2 weeks. If you're here shorte...

Re: Munster, The Money Pit Province 2019/2020

Which other year are you writing off besides Matty? Leo's first? In those 7 seasons, as well as a HC we won 4 leagues and an Amlin and lost 2 finals. It wasn't the worst slump in the world. Don't you go correcting me with facts again - it's annoying. I was just going by 15/16 being first season and...

3) South America - Argentina are utterly dominant here. They've won every South American Championship they've been allowed enter and won every Copa Sudamerica. They are now playing in the South American Six Nations of which their A side are the current champions. There is no competition for them in...

NZ proposing new competition - implications for Arg

Seems NZ are proposing a new comp from 2021 with just NZ, Aus and a Pacific Islands team. Obviously SA might be looking north but it seems Argentina could be in trouble I've thought for a while that Argentina was in a weak position in that comp. I know the current standards aren't great but it might...

Correct but he throws around the term quite a lot without alluding to what he means. It’s a vague way of praising a players ability without getting into the specifics. Question still stands

Fair. It's arguable then that Ireland has never produced a world class scrum-half.

Don't know if this an option, but other forums have a feature that if I click on a thread with unread posts, it brings me straight to the last post I read rather than me having to work out where I left off. If that was on the list it would be great. And in 5 mins - knowing my history - someone is g...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Don’t think it’s right that only the wealthiest season tickets holders get to go to the game to be honest. Particularly with so many season ticket holders probably now out of work or on reduced hours. We all paid up for the right to get a ticket to this game we should all have the same opportunity ...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

If that was the case then it would def pi** off current Season ticket holders ( myself included) if we has to go into a Lottery for tickets - and I wouldn’t even mind paying a premium over normal ticket cost , to get more into Leinster coffers !! Don’t think it’s right that only the wealthiest seas...
