https://www.irishtimes.com/sport/rugby/irish-rugby-great-tom-kiernan-dies-aged-83-1.4792879 RIP Tom Kiernan Very few can match his achievements as a player, very few can match his achievements off the pitch, there are even fewer who can match both. A giant of Irish Rugby. +1, a huge rugby presence.

Re: Champions Cup 1/4 Final: Exeter V Leinster
Didn't see any miracles there, just one pretty good team getting bossed and out played for nearly 70 mins by a better team.
Was shaking at half time, exceptional 30 mins after we woke up. Didn't need any miracles either. Delighted for them all, indeed for us all . One of our best European victories.

Judging by the weather forecast, heavy and persistent rain for most of the day, and the state of the pitch in that video clip we could be in for an old-fashioned mud-fest. Hmmmm.

Re: Dragons Away, 19th Feb, 7.35pm
I wonder if Cronin is on his way. For me, along with Dave Kearney, the most under rated Leinster player in years. The guy has been phenomenal for us. yes it's widely understood, that this is cronins final season with leinster. Leaves us light next year, particularly with Kelleher likely to be away ...

Re: 6 Nations 2021
Not sure what difference tweaking the backline will make if the attack plan remains so two dimensional, back and forth across the pitch rarely making any ground. I thought Mike Catt had a lot of questions to answer going into this game and he didn't answer any. Simple question, what is our backline ...

The only thing that counts in a derby game is the result. They are rarely things of beauty and finesse, going to Thomond and grinding out a win on a freezing evening when your league season depends on it is brilliant. I'll be smiling for a while about this one. Huge congratulations to all involved, ...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Didn't enjoy the first half at all, barring DK's finish, felt like continuation of last week, some strong individuals but precious little team. Second half from the outset so much better, never understand what that's about but really happy that it can happen. Great to see J10 improve as the game wen...

Re: Brent Geese in greater Dublin area
On Monday 23rd November, we had the first sighting of our annual flock of Brent Geese, estimated by manual count at about 300 or so. For the last couple of years we have wondered where else they alight in the greater Dublin area as we see see them landing and taking off regularly from a couple of s...

Re: Leinster vs Cardiff, Nov 22nd, 5.15pm
Some players out there who are very close to the internationals. Cardiff were competitive but Leinster can do damage if you let them. I thought Cardiff’s line speed wasn’t great at times and that made life easier. But they tackled well and didn’t leave many gaps. They caused a fair bit of chaos but...

Still impressed by the hunger and the skills, opposition maybe poor but our second half was very good. Think a lot of top teams in other leagues missing their internationals would have struggled against us tonight, plenty of big performances. Well done, Leinster.

I can see the future... and it's not SOO bad... I see a pizza...I see an enormous beer...I see Leinster on the telly. Considering the week that's in it I'm happy with that, getting excited again.
Love this time of year when the team is full of people with points and names to make...COYBIB.

Re: Leinster V NG Dragons RDS Fri 2nd Oct 20:15
A lot of good performances tonight, enjoyed it a lot and I don't ask for much more than that these days, though opposition weren't up to much they had their moments and those were dealt with pretty comfortably in the main. Lacked clinical finishing in second half, left a lot of points out there but ...

Re: Leinster V NG Dragons RDS Fri 2nd Oct 20:15
I am very interested to see how Frawley does one-on-one with Jamie Roberts. I have an enormous amount of respect for Roberts. He has been a genuinely world class [in the top three in the world in his position] inside centre for a significant part of his career, and has always been able to flick the...
