Re: Strasbourg Venue

Thanks very much folks. I think it is on BT Sports, so the chances of seeing it might not be great. Still, at least I have some inspiration.

That babbling brook in the sky.

A good friend of mine passed away on Friday. He was a Leinster Season ticket holder since the concept began and attended many of the away matches in the hard to get to places. A true Leinster head, yet he was at the famous Munster V All Blacks day in Thomond park in 1978.
RIP Niall Creed.

Re: Book thread

I would recommend Born to Run by Chris McDougal fascinating documentary about running and much, much more.
Engage by Paul Kimmage
Seven Deadly Sins David Walsh
Anything by David Mitchell (Cloud Atlas etc.)
The new Philip Meyer novel (the Son) is meant to be excellent also!!

Re: Any Point Having A Season Ticket?

I think the season ticket for Leinster is as good a value for money as you'll get anywhere. The quality of rugby and the atmosphere in the RDS is mighty. The business of the Lottery is as fair a way as any of doing the distribution. Two of my friends are going but three of us entered the Lottery and...

Re: Ireland V England

In the last three World Cups, O’Driscoll has played in all of Ireland’s 13 games (he was a sub against Romania in ’99) and has missed only five of Ireland’s Six Nations games in 12 campaigns. Furthermore, in playing 68 of Ireland’s last 73 competitive matches, he has completed 80 minutes in all bar ...

Re: England All Black Kit

Is this not just another space filler? I don't think serious rugby fans care in New Zealand if another team wears all black. If the All Blacks wear all white they would not be diminished one iota so long as it a New Zealand national shirt. I've heard that the All Black colouring is meant to give mor...
