Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Haven't seen a millisecond of it yet but that must be one of Irish club rugbys greatest results (outside winning finals). Clermont never lose at home in Europe against any Irish Club.   Gotcha! Never let it be said that should the facts change, that Blockhead will also not change...

Clermont being reeled back in. Great game to watch, and Brian Byrne is having a good game.

Re: A whiff of Cordite

Just properly policing the offside line would be a great start. It's gone beyond a joke now. Of course it would nullify the effectiveness of some teams (e.g. England, Saracens) but it has to be done. I'm not really seeing this offside epidemic everyone keeps talking about. I think a lot of people c...

Re: Rob and Ferg

Five-week ban for Ferg. Doesn't make great reading for those involved. https://www.englandrugby.com/news/article/rfu-disciplinary-charges-barbarian-fc-players Hasn't he retired? BBC reporting that he has to do 60 hours community work. How are the RFU going to enforce that? https://www.bbc.co.uk/spo...

Not sure Neil Armstrong would quite see it that way.
I have it in the back of my head that Armstrong pulled rank and swapped seats with Aldrin so he would be first out of the lunar capsule (of course I 'think' I read this years ago so it might not be true).

Didn't know where this should go, so I stuck it here. There are real problems on the way.

   Why Not? Would you begrudge them this moment of celebration for them? I'm not begrudging them anything. I don't see how being first to regulate use of a vaccine is worthy of congratulations - someone had to be first to use it after all. (given the shambolic shit-show approach o...

Re: Andy Farell's Reign of Terror

probably a good thing no crowd was allowed in to watch that. if I paid 80Euro to watch that I wouldn't be happy. Credit to georgia who were great at knocking us back yards in the tackle and dominating the scrum. Worrying that we don't seem to be able to cope with dominant tacklers/attacker and our ...

Re: England v Ireland 21 November 15:00

Shock: 15 players qualified to play for Ireland are picked to play for Ireland. Yes they are all qualified. But these are players that Ireland side to play for an international club team. 1 or 2 such players to fill a gap is one thing, but 1/3 is Ireland moving away from being a national team. I ha...

Re: Argentina join the club

Amazing achievement for them. Does anyone know a link to highlights? Haven't got sky. Sent from my SM-A750FN using Tapatalk There’s about a six minute clip on YouTube. Mostly shows the scores. Hard to believe that the Argentine team hadn’t played a test in over a year and then to beat NZ. Remarkable.
