Re: Corona Virus

Greater than (>)32 panels. Think KK are the only county without a senior football team. Not sure about the hurling, but I guess there'd be around 60 panels in total Thing is the Govt/GAA could to some extent control/know what the GAA panels are doing wrt bubbles, travelling, testing etc (whether the...

Re: Zebre at home, 23 Oct. 19:35

Sheahan's throwing was really impressive. No scrum issues either. And a great curse as well  Thought we were lucky to not give away a couple of penalties at scrum time at the beginning but we improved a lot after that. The first Leinster scrum where the pack were driven back and Ruddock someho...

Some sense spoken by Andrew Trimble (on The42) on the whole "should an exception me made for Zebo" rubbish:

(Additional rubbish in the comments though)

Re: Zebre at home, 23 Oct. 19:35

Ruddock and Murphy really getting stuck in, and JOB's kicking is quality. In every replay I thought it was fairly clear that the Zebre 19 made contact with Molony's eye - I'm surprised they didn't freeze frame it at the last contact, where it was clearest. That said, Ross didn't make much of a deal ...

Re: Corona Virus

The problem as I see it is not the testing, it's that the players have another profession that they return to after training/matches. In that situation testing doesn't matter a hoop. Cavan 24 players one squad Kilcock 20 Ratoath 17. Lobbying is the only thing that seems to have influenced the 'pape...

[Paraphrased from a comment on The42]
It will be heads up rugby as they are constantly looking up in the air at Murray's box kicks!

Re: Corona Virus

Sounds mad but then so is having inter county and club GAA when you can't go for a coffee at your moms or socialise a toddler at play dates. The GAA suspended all club leagues and championships last week. Only inter county games are going ahead - is that any madder than having Pro14, Heinken Cup an...

Re: 8 Nations 2020

So Ed Byrne to get capped. 5 centres and 5 back three seems a strange mix, especially when two of the back three are uncapped. Might Henshaw be #23? Compared to GT's predicted squad - Jack Mc misses out, Roux in for Dillane, Conan in for O'Donoghue (What was GT thinking with that call?!), McCloskey in

And here, Berch is one of the worst offenders for getting player’s names wrong. Every week on the 42 he mentions “Ronan Solano” and “Mario Toje”
Last week he got Tuilagi mixed up with Mako Vunipola
You could even hear Murray Kinsella (I think) laugh a bit when he said it.

Re: A whiff of Cordite

The42's description of Munster's comeback was a bit much:

"History has been filled with great comebacks, Elvis at Las Vegas, Liverpool at Istanbul. Now this"

They could have at least included the greatest comeback of all time.

vipleague is definitely not where I watch all Leinster games, and I couldn't recommend anyone else to use it.
The first link for every game is always the HD stream (though not actually HD) from the RugbyPass streaming site.

Re: Pro 14 final vs Ulster, Sept 12th. Live on TG4 & EirSport

I find the talk about VdF needing a big game etc a bit odd. He had a cracker against Munster, with most singling him, Ringrose and Sexton out for special praise. Not sure he could have done much more, just Connors has also been playing great and they have different styles. I expect more of the same ...

Re: Aviva Premiership: something exciting happens

Geordan Murphys Leicester suffered a 54-7 defeat away to Wasps. Don't think he is long for this coaching business. Us with long memories wont give a fcuk! BTW Leicester No14? Harry Potter , I kid you not. What a burden. In another game Stuart Hogg limped off with a leg injury in the 2nd half, now h...

If none of Healy, McGrath or Kilcoyne make the next RWC then you then it really looks like Leinster looseheads vs ex-Leinster looseheads.
Even with Healy and McGrath in tow, it's Leinster looseheads vs ex-Leinster looseheads.
