Re: Leinster V Ulster
Sent packing? Not yet anyway. 'ees Done 'is cruciate in'e Did he trip over the step at the entrance to Greggs? No. He twisted his knee in the Munster game. Was in agony, stayed down and was taken off on the field ambulance. Think it's medial ligament rather than cruciate. Pretty sad when any player...

Re: Sabre-rattling from Premiership Rugby again ...
Unless I'm missing something, the FIR-AER governance solution would give PRL a way back with BT as broadcaster of the English clubs games. Not sure why PRL would be agin it, if LNR are ok with it. If there is a new organisation set up to run European competitions it is unlikely they will start from...

The French Rugby Federation told the four RaboDirect Pro12 unions that its involvement in the 20-team, five-nation Heineken Cup proposed for next season was conditional on it being run by Fira, the organisation of developing unions in Europe, not European Rugby Cup Ltd or the Six Nations committee,...

Guys, I'm just on to sympathise. They did the same to us at Ravenhill last year. Mentally hard to prepare after you've demolished a team at home no matter how much you talk about them looking revenge. You desperately missed SOB. Genuinely, my sympathies, but you have beaten them on match points hea...

Their only plan is to take a bribe from a bigger industry to be a pawn in a battle that has nothing to do with the sport and don't care if they destroy the game throughout Europe as long as they line their pockets. This side of the water some would say that is exactly what the Italian, Scottish and...

He'll be treated the same way he has been IMO. Mind you, it's not as if he's been putting in MOTM performances this season.LeRouxIsPHat wrote:Serious kick in the teeth for Ulster. Perhaps they won't be as accommodating with his trips home for the rest of the season?

That was the word but very much got the feeling that money would talk. What I will be less than impressed about is if his family accompany him. UR did e...

Indo just tweeted that Afoa is leaving at the end of the season. Open secret in Ulster. Wife didn't settle in Ulster and went home. He's been commuting ever since. No way he was staying. I must say, UR have been exceptionally supportive and accommodating but re-signing was never ever going to happe...

Re: Ulster Rugby 2013/2014
You want him to replace D'Arcy so why is comparing them unfair? Fair enough. Compare away. I think I made it clear why I would want him to get game time at international level at the expense of D'Arcy. Maybe you see Gordan still around in 2 years time? Succession planning is all I meant by it. Woul...

Re: Ulster Rugby 2013/2014
I think with the high intensity, physical nature of the game we want to play, rotation is absolutely key. I can see Marshall and Darce splitting the starts in the 6 nations as well. Won't stop the howls of bias from the tin-foil brigade every time Marshall isn't picked, but there is sense in it. As...

And Shaggy is also a sky analyst, is he not?
I don't think Sky have some sort of purdah in place. They just have been here before and know that eventually something will be sorted out and that they will have to work with "whoever" and "least said, soonest mended".

Re: Ulster Rugby 2013/2014
Great win. excellent start to the HC campaign for the Ulster men. They should win at least 3 of their next 4 HC games, is a revamped Ravenhill big enough for a HC quarter? Easily. You only need 15000. For a Semi you need 20000 but you can't have it at your home ground anyway. Ulster will have 18000...

Forgot about the Fitzpatrick one when he came from the Leicester side Simon, astonishing. It's not like he didn't have a perfect view of it either. kudos to DF for lasting 80 in a HC game but think he went for some Krav Maga psy ops on Poite of being so blatantly offside Poite didnt know what was g...
