Re: Leinster v Glasgow URC Q/F Sat 4th June 15:15
Bad feeling that this season has the bang of 2017 off it. Heads down after a heartbreaking close loss in Europe then and ambushed by Scarlets in the league. To be fair Scarlets were playing the best rugby in the league that year. Their form after Christmas was unbelievable. I haven't seen much of G...

Re: Pro14 Conferences 2019/20 and 2020/21
The ticket profits will be split differently, with the home teams pocketing 80 per cent and the away sides taking 20 per cent. What was it before? As I understood it previously the home team kept 100% of the receipt money for league games. For Play offs and semi finals, it was split 3 ways between ...

You're maybe right, I'm not his biggest fan. Maybe he's thinking of his Newport roots and he's forgiven the Welsh for dumping him.blockhead wrote: I do think he (Barnes) believes it, he said it a few times over the last few years.

Re: Game 1: Leinster away to Glasgow [06/09/14] Sky Sports
Stuart Barnes is recently quoted as saying that the top end of the Pro12 is more competitive & of better quality than the AP. He can say anything he wants, I doubt in his heart of heart he believes it. Even if it is true. Sky are paying his wages and he needs to promote their "new" pr...

Some details on the Scotstoun provided to Glasgow Season Ticket holders last night. http://www.glasgowwarriors.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=8496&start=10 "The pitch was removed during the summer, under soil heating removed, more sand added and the drainage improved. The under soil heat...

Much excitement on the Glasgow forum, some genuine new joiners on the forum and some with oirish accent joined to get the Ticketmaster link but as the release is now out for anyone that's bought a ticket from Glasgow Warriors in or Murrayfield in the past, there should be no need for further ah g'w...

Re: Leinster @ Glasgow, 20 Sep 2013
The temporary stands at either end will not be in place (so I suppose that is what the previous poster was getting at). The can only be fitted a few times a year due to planning restrictions and I've also heard it is due to the athletic season still "running" The standing ends have no cove...

Before going away with the Lions, he had played the fourth most minutes of any player in the touring squad in all competitions [club and test] with 2056mins. The three players above him were all Leicester and England players: Parling first, with 2346mins; Tuilagi second at 2244mins; and Dan Cole th...

Re: Leinster @ Glasgow, 20 Sep 2013
three Lions in Hogg, Maitland and Cusiter. A good synopsis, you forgot Ryan Grant who was called up as a Lion this year. He like Hogg never had the best of games either at Ravenhill. The Lions hangover very evident. Cusiter is just making his way back from injury after missing the whole of last sea...
