A better deal for Sean than London Irish. He needs to be careful though, a different league with different challenges. They could easily get relegated in his first season.
Good luck to him

Lam will have to adhere to EQP rules like the rest of them, so unless we have a few with English grannies....paddyor wrote:I wonder will Lam come calling for a few of them now.

Re: Leinster A 2016-17
Such a shame, they were good last night, really enjoyed the game. The away game last week in Nottingham was their undoing. They are a good squad and I suppose that the mixing of players with the senior team has actually cost the A team. Not bothered at all as it is for the greater good of the club.

Re: Leinster A 2016-17
Real shame that we lost this game. It is a great competition for player development and thought we had sent a team good enough to win. We can still qualify though, a good win v Richmond next week should see us scrape through.

Loughman and Carbery were not "poached" by Blackrock from the club system. Their families sent them there at the time to further their education and give them better opportunities to receive some good coaching at rugby. Good decision by their parents if you ask me.

People are being very polite and understandably so about Ross Byrne, due to his age etc, (but he is the same age as Joey). He had a poor game and whilst games are won and lost by forwards, it is when you do not have absolute dominant forwards your half backs need to take control of the game. Our kic...

Delighted with everything but have to say I would not be happy if I was a Saints fan. They were shocking and it was the kind of performance that could get a coach sacked.

During the game against Northampton last night as i was watching the game i was thinking that half the team featured in the first B&I game v Richmond. Different team here against better opposition.

This game is a very winnable one. Away wins are precious.

Lancaster would never go to play number two to Lam. Just could not see it.
Surely that is part of the reason that he never took a full time post here? He wants his own gig.

I think that SO'B said in the paper after the game that he would be involved with the B+I cup squad again this week.

Is this not why the ab's moved to 'farm fitness' a while back? Basically more functional strength than big muscle. Isn't Jamie also mad for yoga (or is that just a mf thing to beat him with)? Jamie's a big fan of a book called 'Becoming a Supple Leopard: The Ultimate Guide to Resolving Pain, Preven...

Furlong would be a massive loss for this game but if it's just tight then he should be fine for NZ which is a big relief. When are Leinster playing New Zealand? Ross was always going to start this one (IMO). He was in Midi Olympique's XV of the week of the week, presumably because the scrum did ver...

Good read alright, but a sad reflection on Richmond that their two best players were failed Irish age grade players ! Adam Boland was a former irish U20 prop. I saw that on twitter that Richmond gave O'Hagan MOTM which is unusual for a 10 on a team that has just been slaughtered so that does in fair...

Everybody is shocked and saddened. It is always tragic when someone so young with children passes. No matter what they did for a living. He was a genuine hard but fair man. A real rugby man. RIP Anthony

Was never worried about Joey, the kid is a genuine class player who has the temperament and importantly the self belief for the big occasions. He will get a full irish cap in the near future.
