Re: European Champions Cup 23/24

Some discussion in England about the FA cup final moving earlier on the same day as the Champions Cup final as the Met are concerned about security at an evening kick off given that the 2 Manchester teams are in the final. So there's a potential fixture clash between the Champions Cup and FA Cup wit...

Re: Lions v Leinster - Sat 20 April, 14.00 - RTE2

Cullens crazy , yes crazy selection decisions could leave us with nothing again this year. He got it badly wrong v Munster last Yr and got it wrong again today . Why not send stronger squad for 1 game here? We will be down to 3rd by next wk. We will have to see what we are made of now with games on...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

No clue why this means we can't keep our seats. Cause the people currently sitting at the bottom half of the "D" won't have a seat (and maybe those in the first row or two if that's where the subs bench goes). So either they move those people down the very end (bit unfair) or they have to...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

Yes, I'm aware it's being levelled thanks. Has it been confirmed that anyone who currently has seats in the Anglesea Stand will have seats in the redeveloped stand? Apologies, didn't mean for the post to come across that way. I think given history, Leinster are generally very good at trying to find...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

That's fantastic! Getting over 50k would be massive! Am I the only one who expected it to sell out? It’s the first Leinster rugby match in Croker in nearly 15 years. Of course it was gonna sell out. However I didn’t expect it to sell out so quickly I didn't. I thought the fact that the LAR game was...

Yeah hopped on for curiosity, all premium gone and there were over 4000 people ahead of me in the queue. This could be massive!

Re: Leinster exiles, where are they.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzGjdI_JlWA Worth a watch, from Michael Cheka. The difference in what he says – they're where we want to be, let's get there – and what you hear at the moment from whingers left, right and centre is stark. Great vid. Cheiks needs to brush up on his Irish history thou...

https://twitter.com/djm_rugbai/status/1780912086274428992?t=yXulHbnhnt1aXhGp7zT6hg&s=19 ..... So our player wage bill is €14m And coaches. That calculation says that Munster are getting the same as us and we have to pay wage bills for the 60 players who we play when we don't have access to the ...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

So even though we've been sitting in the Anglesea Stand for years, we might not get seats in the new stand once it's redeveloped, is that correct? Well the anglesea is going to be levelled so no! They are saying they are also reconfiguring the grandstand - wonder if they will try to enlarge it give...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

Not quite Dave. What they are saying is buy two tickets on one account. Then as soon as you have them, email the office and they will switch one ticket to the other ST account. BTW - I've moved season tickets from my account to someone else's a number of times. Email with the details and they do it...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

Hmmm If I (20 something years sth) want to sit beside my wife (not sure but certainly 15 yrs+ STH) at a match next season, according to my reading of the FAQs, then one of us has to drop our individual season ticket, buy two on the same account, and when the RDS re-opens, then that person "wou...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Rob Baxter If Irish rugby, Leinster and the United Rugby Championship can get their house in order to allow them to invest in players, their programme and their coaches like they do, you have to say, ‘Fair play.’ “My response would be, ‘Let’s not try to say it’s not fair and limit Leinster, let’s l...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Priceless stuff. Leinster replace Ngatai with Barrett so.... Waterfordlad I've been a member of Irish Rugby Supporters Club since 2008, mainly for access to tickets/events. No more, I'm done. The power of one. It's a small thing at 50 euros a year but I'm quitting on principle. I'll still support M...

Totally agree lads. We are poor to blood props in particular. Very poor. Size tends to be the biggest limiter for a lot of these guys. Marty Moore being the best example he probably played the best rugby of his career at that age. Such an important position. Think we saw Knox and salanoa as the nex...

Re: Ross Molony leaving Leinster

Do Leinster legend Tshirts still exist? Would be great to get Ross one before he left. The first one we did was for Girv, the original club man anti-hero, selfless and played his guts out for the club. Ross is exactly that type of player.

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

A lot of comments are making the assumption that the IRFU are funding this when in honesty 90% of the rugby public don’t have a clue (me included), but that aside who is to say this isn’t privately funded like marque signing in the past in Munster and Ulster, I’m fairly sure there are private inves...

Very good player, superb line out operator with a massive work rate and one of the leadership group, there'll be a big hole where he used to be. Best of luck to him, hope it goes well for him at Bath.

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

Not sure how reliable this is, but I have heard that tickets will go on public sale at 10am on Friday and are an average of €10 cheaper than for last year's semi-final at the Aviva Stadium - down on average from €49 to €39. Premium tickets this time around are priced at €90 for Premium, Category 1 ...
