Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

So even though we've been sitting in the Anglesea Stand for years, we might not get seats in the new stand once it's redeveloped, is that correct? Well the anglesea is going to be levelled so no! They are saying they are also reconfiguring the grandstand - wonder if they will try to enlarge it give...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

Not quite Dave. What they are saying is buy two tickets on one account. Then as soon as you have them, email the office and they will switch one ticket to the other ST account. BTW - I've moved season tickets from my account to someone else's a number of times. Email with the details and they do it...

Re: Leinster move to Aviva Stadium for 24/25

Hmmm If I (20 something years sth) want to sit beside my wife (not sure but certainly 15 yrs+ STH) at a match next season, according to my reading of the FAQs, then one of us has to drop our individual season ticket, buy two on the same account, and when the RDS re-opens, then that person "wou...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Rob Baxter If Irish rugby, Leinster and the United Rugby Championship can get their house in order to allow them to invest in players, their programme and their coaches like they do, you have to say, ‘Fair play.’ “My response would be, ‘Let’s not try to say it’s not fair and limit Leinster, let’s l...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Priceless stuff. Leinster replace Ngatai with Barrett so.... Waterfordlad I've been a member of Irish Rugby Supporters Club since 2008, mainly for access to tickets/events. No more, I'm done. The power of one. It's a small thing at 50 euros a year but I'm quitting on principle. I'll still support M...

Re: Munster 2023/2024 - Return of the Jedi????

Totally agree lads. We are poor to blood props in particular. Very poor. Size tends to be the biggest limiter for a lot of these guys. Marty Moore being the best example he probably played the best rugby of his career at that age. Such an important position. Think we saw Knox and salanoa as the nex...

Re: Ross Molony leaving Leinster

Do Leinster legend Tshirts still exist? Would be great to get Ross one before he left. The first one we did was for Girv, the original club man anti-hero, selfless and played his guts out for the club. Ross is exactly that type of player.

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

A lot of comments are making the assumption that the IRFU are funding this when in honesty 90% of the rugby public don’t have a clue (me included), but that aside who is to say this isn’t privately funded like marque signing in the past in Munster and Ulster, I’m fairly sure there are private inves...

Re: Ross Molony leaving Leinster

Very good player, superb line out operator with a massive work rate and one of the leadership group, there'll be a big hole where he used to be. Best of luck to him, hope it goes well for him at Bath.

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

Not sure how reliable this is, but I have heard that tickets will go on public sale at 10am on Friday and are an average of €10 cheaper than for last year's semi-final at the Aviva Stadium - down on average from €49 to €39. Premium tickets this time around are priced at €90 for Premium, Category 1 ...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Sure, they wouldn't know what to do with him. It'd be like expecting a McLaren to do the work of a combine. They'd know exactly what to do with them. They sign international centres every season and get them to play below their potential. It's part of their DNA. They have signed plenty of box offic...

Re: Jordi Barrett to sign for Leinster

Box Office move.. Munster fans only jealous that its not them. Some of the commentary around this signing is absolutely mad. Appreciate how frustrating it must be for fans of Ulster and Munster to see 2 big signings who are an add ons to an already very strong team. However, our resource base is wh...

Re: European Champions Cup 23/24

If teams don't want to compete or feel they can't they shouldn't be in the tournament. It's not just this game, we're selling a lot of tickets for games at the RDS and Aviva where weakened teams are showing up to get hammered, that's not a contest or what sport is all about. This is particularly bad...

From Leinster: " 𝗗𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗹𝘂𝗲 🤩 💙 Our Hooker has signed a new two-year deal with @IrishRugby and Leinster Rugby. 🙌" We've had worse weeks :D A no brainer, Dan is not just one of the best players in Ireland but one of the best in the world at the moment. Very well deserved.

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

Just re watched the first half again and I thought JJ had a really good game. He brought everything we wanted from him in terms of using his size, covered the ground and had some really big moments (great last ditch tackle to allow Larmour a turn over in the first half). Wasn't perfect (I know he g...

Re: Leinster v Northampton Saints - EPCR Semi-Final Croke Park 4th May

Be interesting to see how tickets are priced. Think Leinster did a really good job of pricing to ensure that we had nearly 100k people at 2 games within a week. Do they control pricing at this game or is it the EPCR? EPCR Laissez la gougeage commence! Exactly. Would not be surprised if they didn't ...

Re: Leinster v La Rochelle Saturday 13th April 2024 at 5.30pm RTE2

Gotta laugh at all the whinging about RoG being booed. Make no mistake, this is nothing more than pandering to Munster fans, especially people from Cork. Leinster players booed often in TP down the years. Leinster players given nicknames like Daverage and Kneeslip. Leinster referred to as Ladyboys....
