Not one Munster player in the starting 15. Time the IRFU seriously considered winding up the province and having their players/schools split between Leinster and Connacht.
Thomond should be sold off for scrap as soon as possible, before the Rathkeale brigade undertake what's only in their culture.

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Foley hasn't a rashers! How can anyone think that Munster are in a better position now than they were after Penney's 1st season. Neither were particularly good seasons, but at least Munster looked like a top Euro side when they clicked under Penney on those few occassions when it mattered in The HEC...

Re: Leinster V Glasgow Fri 27th Mar 19.35
That team is a disgrace. It seems the IRFU are doing everything they can to help the basket-case that is Munster scrape through into the Pro12 Semis; especially given they have nothing else to play for.

Great to see that unintelligible, inner-city Cark, gravedigger lookalike, and his cheap, ill-fitting suits, finally getting the shepherd's crook.

Apart from all the makeyuppy stuff about Liam Williams, are there actually any firm rumours to speak of?

Re: Scotland v Ireland. 2:30 pm. Saturday 21st March.
I think Joe needs to make some big calls. Rob's inability to pass and lack of real pace is killing us. We really need to look at other options at 15 - other than Jones. I'd like to see Payne at fb with either Earls or Luke at 13. Mads at 12 with Henshaw at 13 is certainly worth trying, if Earls or L...

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Archer's time is being managed. He is coming back from a very serious neck injury. Archer is the joke that keeps giving. He couldn't scrummage his way out a paper bag. Nearly 30 and his "time is being managed!" Stop trying to raid our Academy and sort out your joke of a team! Not on...

Re: Munster 2014/2015
He's more likely to be linked with a French club IMO than Munster seeing as we can't outbid each other. Similar to what Moore did last year. Furlong is getting plenty of game time as is (7+14 - 745mins) so what would be the point of heading south? For a comparison Archer has 8+12 with 606mins. With...

Re: Munster 2014/2015
how long until munster try and poach Tadhg Furlong? Probably already in the process of attempting it. Furlong has impressed me this season despite being part of a poorly coached pack. It would be a good move for Furlong, Munster and irish rugby. Furlong currently third choice behind two internation...

You've no winners thus far. Might have broke even with a few each way bets. Better not to gamble, it's a fools game.

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Good work retaining BJ for at least another 6 months on a huge wedge. The 1st 3 months will cover his hollers, and the remainder will give him time (along with Archer) to ensure you don't get into the ERC QFs. Still no announcement about Mumble's stellar signings of Salli and Creevy. Pretty embarras...

Odd to think that at a time when guys like John Mitchell are talking up our RWC prospects that the provinces have never been in a worse state of affairs.
Sexton's return should paper over a number of cracks, but God help Munster and Ulster with their options at 10.

Missing Nuggets?
Are you referring to Dougall and POC heading off to France next season?
Yes, I am sure Mumble will be missing them too.

Re: Wales vs Ireland - 14/03/2015 14:30
The drop off from Sexton really is stark. Madigan was shocking on Sunday. Leaving aside his terrible kicking out of hand, the rest of the backline could almost immediately sense that he couldn't handle the pressure, and had him sitting back in the pocket, with Murray taking on all responsibility. Ke...

Re: Munster 2014/2015
I hear that Mr Potato-head has been offered another massive wedge to belly-flop scrums and give away penalties.
Foley and Fitzgerald really know how to run their beloved liiiginnds into the ground.
Anyone would think they were Leinsterfans in disguise.

Re: Munster 2014/2015
In a season in which both Munster and Leinster have played poorly, you'd really have to worry for the former going forward. Archer and Botha were simply destroyed by a mediocre Scarlets pack. How many penalties did they give away between them? Six? How anyone can seriously countenance TOD or Keatley...

Re: Munster 2014/2015
Foley really is a pillock. Imagine letting a talent like JJ lave and backing a donkey like Keatley. Munster can top the table, but they'll win nothing this season.

Re: Ireland vs England - 01/03/2015 15:00
And there's the real problem: inside centres, not outside, not fullback. Payne is a solution to a problem we don't have. If he's going to move back to fullback do it at Ulster and he can duke it out with Jones for the world cup spot. My worry is that with Earls and Luke as the starting 13s for Muns...

Re: Leinster V Zebre Fri 20th Feb 19.35
Cronin was on such a different level to every other Leinster player last night in terms of application and intensity and any other buzz-word you can think of, it looked like we'd brought in a ringer from a team several levels above us. The pack that started the game should be embarrassed by the dif...

Re: Ireland vs England - 01/03/2015 15:00
In fairness, Payne looks a completely different player at 15. Trying to convert him to an OC in his mid 20s has been a complete disaster, and neutered Henshaw by shoehorning him at 12. Joe needs to pick the best players in their best positions, which is obviously difficult given the paucity of talen...
