Cillian Willis taking a case against Sale. He was knocked out during a game but the medics allowed him play on, subsequently he had to retire due to concussions.

Re: Time to privatise the provinces? [Opinion / Article Post
I'm all in favour of this, but I think in the short term, the only rationale for pumping 10m into a province is as a vanity / pr project. You could see the likes of JP, Denis O'B doing it in Leinster or Munster. I'm sure there are equivalents in Ulster (if they haven't been scared off by the Rory M...

There is that but if UCC had the new Training Centre they'd be posters saying that's wrong as it should be in UL.simonokeeffe wrote:

Ben Whitehouse never called the Rob K knockon as he thought it was obvious to Owens so he was probably on the other side in the 2nd half.
Owens missed or left stuff go but he nor the officials were the undoing of Leinster.

Re: Pro12 Final
The AR called the pass forward. Owens blew the whistle as he accepted the ARs call.
Do you want all play to on until a try is scored and then use the TMO to review ARs or refs calls on forward passes and infringements?

The IRFU have to grant the permission for Munster to host a game outside of the normal competitive & preseason games. That doesn't mean it's a hand out.

Re: Ulster v. Leinster Sat 30th 3pm
Payne is playing his last, at most, three games at 15 in Irish rugby barring a huge injury crisis. Ulster were allowed sign a world class full back because Payne will be playing at 13. Fair point. There is some possibility of Piutau being put on the wing to accommodate the youth and good form of Mc...

Must win game for Munster but think we'll be lucky to get a LBP. Leinster's defence and our ability to cough up ball at the wrong time will cost.

One problem is that this is now 'a big match' and we've lost every one of those this season. we've won 3 out of 4 interpros so far this season, beat Bath, beat Ospreys home and away think by we there you mean Ireland  We lost Five out of Six of our European matches, Ospreys are dreadful (four...

Re: CJ Stander silences the doubters
Just catching up - Heaslip had his best 6 Nations in some time - competition helps in this regard - but he was some way off being the top carrier - He had 62 carries - Stander had 87 - Vunipola had 93 and I assume is the highest His tackle stats are great - 61 made v 1 missed (Stander was 54/3 and ...

Delighted with those signings, Arnold especially, while he's been getting gametime in Ulster he should get more in Munster though he'll surely ney competing directly with Rory Scannell for a place on the team. If he's better than Rory then he'll be a great player.

I wonder does Joe have an issue with how Heaslip behaves off the field, when asked about Best being given the captaincy he talked about Best but seemed to put some weight on how he conducted himself off the pitch. I can't remember his exacts words but I thought it strange and then remembered a few j...

Re: Munster 2015/2016
Foley didn't sign him. IRFU stipulated at the time of his signing he'd play 12 and could only cover 10 with permission from them. I assume with JJ leaving that has changed but back to my original point I can't see the IRFU allowing Munster sign an NIQ outhalf.
