Re: RDP12 Semi-Final
Regardless of the need to rest players, I think certain players deserve to start this match - the stalwarts of our CL season if you like. I'm talking about VDM, Toner, McL, Ruddock, Ryan (when fit), Auva'a, Madigan, EOM, and Kearney Jr. I'd personally start this side: VDM Cronin Ross Thorn Toner McL...

Should be played before the QF at Lansdowne, GAA style.[Jackass] wrote:Word on boards that this game is being played in the RDS...any truth to this? I hope not, been a long long time since I got to spend a Friday night in donnybrook. Either way I'd say there'll be a massive crowd, I'd say it'd fill Donnybrook.

Re: Brad Thorn coming to Leinster?
Could be a bit risky trying to integrate Thorn and Cullen into the side by the time Munster and the QF arrive. Still, it's worth the risk.

It's good to get excited but steady on, this is actually one of our least important games of the season when you think about it. I'd take five points from the next two weekends, really.johng wrote:So. Here we go, huge game for us on so meny levels.

Re: Second row worries
Players need time to adjust, people forget Strauss took a good while to get up to standard.
I'd start Sykes this weekend as Toner hasn't been very good his last few outings. I think we should try out the Leo/Sykes combination, even if it would be interesting to see Toner up against Caldwell.

Are you talking about the same injury-feigning Nadal in this thread? The guy is a complete con.

Re: Treviso V Leinster
Not sure about the ankle, but worryingly, some of the young lads seem quite injury prone, particularly Ryan and Conway (having already lost 2 other highly promising players to injury in Paul Ryan and McKinley ) and Macken has had his share of injury problems too iirc :/ To be fair getting a stud in...

Go for it I say, the odd tricolour at European games and games in the ML against the Scots, Welsh and Eyeties is also good, IMO.

Re: Connacht v Leinster thread
We need to win this game, really. I hope to see the strongest possible side lining out. There's plenty of time over the next few weeks (Dragons and Edinburgh at home, and then Scarlets and Ospreys, all probably without our internationals) to give certain players a go and to rest. The next three matc...

Mike Blair has been shite ever since he was tipped for Lions captaincy. He was even dropped by Edinburgh last season at one point.
Cue massive return to form on Friday!

I don't want Berne or Nacewa at 12, no. We can't have the 12 position ending up like TH for Ireland.CiaranIrl wrote:Do you mean you don't want Beirne to start?
