Re: Heineken Cup 2021/22
Us v Connacht in the round of 16 then. Second leg at 'home'. Would be mad, but I wonder might the IRFU try to bring *both* legs to the Aviva? Two guaranteed 50k+ crowds would be a big boost for all coffers. One word “no” Don’t think both teams have that option to do that anyway No way Connacht givi...

Re: Leinster vs Zebre, 9/10, 1pm @TheRDS, RTE.
Cronin missed his first three and Kelleher overthrew two. Along with that we had some really messy possession from our own throws. Cronin missed 2, both picked off from poor calling IMO, Dev to blame if anybody One of Kelleher’s was a missed back lift so not his fault Seemed a system breakdown As a...

Re: Leinster vs Zebre, 9/10, 1pm @TheRDS, RTE.
Didn't think the lineout was a particular issue today, I have to say. Cronin missed his first three and Kelleher overthrew two. Re: Rumour Mill
Another saga to the Kruis “Rumour”
May dampen things on his arrival or maybe not!!!
His business partner Dominic Day now living in Dublin full time with his wife (not sure of her name but is a Dublin model I think)
So maybe could be over for buisness, or maybe not

Re: Pro 14 Final vs Munster, March 27th. 5pm. @ The RDS.
I love Sean Cronin as much as the next sane man but based on the last few years Tracy has to be ahead of him. Cronin has started 4 games this year, he's made 154m from 30 carries, 5 clean breaks and made 50 tackles. Not exactly washed up! he's been dealing with a back injury and was far from top fo...

Re: Sean Cronin
Incredible servant, going on 10 years since he joined and he’s been immense Massively underrated outside of Leinster but I think we’ve seen in spades what a huge contribution he’s made Try scoring record is outrageous and the amount of big try’s he’s scored too over the years Coming up on nearby 325...

Re: Leinster exiles, where are they.
Byrne putting in a good 70 minute shift. 16/16 according to the official stats (which I think is generous — Sale won one of their throws but fumbled on the way down). At least 25 successful throws in a row from him! Our stats might be ok in the league, but remember that the league is basically 9 sh...

Re: Leinster exiles, where are they.
Leinster line out currently operating at 89% 4th best in the league I’m not saying we’re perfect but I think it’s over the top with the level of criticism being put on our hookers it's clearly an area that can be improved..if Kelleher's lineout throwing was reliable he'd be 1st choice for Leinster ...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Smash smash smash and grab win last night Have to admire everyone 1-23 how we stayed and fought in that game the full 80 Wasn’t perfect, far from it really but it never is going down there with 2 teams that know each other so well. Scrum was impressive, a penalty each against for both teams and I th...

Re: Leinster A '20-21'
I’d go along with a lot that’s been said on here re: some younger players getting blown up to all sorts of heights when they are way off the pace of playing pro rugby at any decent level (I’d include Sheehan, Dunne and a couple of other seniors in there) I thought SOB was particularly bad, not just ...

Re: Munster Away 26/12 19:35 Eir Sport 1
Keenan is excellent and all, but I think I'd go for JOB at fullback. His deft attacking kicking game adds an extra dimension going forward. I think I'd prefer to see Henshaw at 13 than at 12. He's a brilliant defensive 12, but you see far more of his attacking ability when he's playing outside cent...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Are you equating that with him being a top class player, or are you saying that despite being a limited player he has had a successful career? I have great time for Cronin, he is a fairly sound lad, I have had the privilege to have a few drinks with him on a couple of occasions, and he is a genuine...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Well Done on the victory. It doesn’t guarantee that you will top the table, but it fair to say that Leinster would want to completely implode for them not to. You would have to wonder about coaching when you see that none of the Leinster hookers can hit their man consistently. When Cronin is your b...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
JGP didn't pass well either. We have scrum-halves that can't pass properly and hookers that can't throw. Cronin throws straight but doesn't get the right height enough - so Ulster competed and stole a few. Also, Ryan was better tonight and I particularly liked his 2 offloads, but he goes to ground ...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Fair play to Brace for penalising McGrath there Hopefully it (and the emphasis on enforcing that law) will be the kick up the hole McGrath needs. The difference when he came on for JGP was glaring. So good at every aspect of the game apart from the most important one for a 9. JGP didn't pass well e...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Enjoyed that!!!! Proper game and good test for us... Disjointed in the first half in attack but defended very well and bar a few brainless penalties that game then access we looked ok Much more urgency and bite in the second half Amazing how a beautiful kick through from J10 led to our early cronin ...

Re: Leinster v Ulster Fri 8th January 2021 19:35 EirSport
Tracey is the worst of a bad batch of Irish lineout throwers. Must be so demoralising to lose every lineout. You must have your eyes closed when kelleher is throwing as hes worse than Tracey. I think Tracey has actually been our most consistent thrower in the last 12 months. I'm sure not that long ...

Re: Leinster v Connacht Sat 2nd 19.35 Eir Sport
Sheehan is a competent hooker. Don’t think we need to sign anyone but there is a major problem there. I think part of the issue is that Ireland has a problem as well so you’ve got a lot of the same players and coaches involved in it for years. For example, when was the last time Leo’s fingerprints ...
