Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

If Munster can bring through even 35% of the talent Leinster bring through it can only bode well for Leinster and Irish rugby too as it will allow Leinster to make their decision entirely on which players to release and give Ireland a bigger pool of players. Fingers crossed they are seeing the ligh...

Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21

Much better from our red cousins, key period coming up for them now over the next couple of seasons. Back youth and home grown talent or keep filling gaps etc with saffers and Leinster borrowings....it is going to take a couple of season of them unwinding the current mess to fix the problem and we w...

Re: Zebre at home, 23 Oct. 19:35

Good Leinstertainment, Leo got to bring on some kids from the local park, couple of ball boys and the lad who cuts the grass and it still all hummed and ticked along nicely. Seriously though, I know Zebre were poor but our tempo and attitude brill and a testament to the group and coaches. Ruddock su...

Re: Benetton v. Leinster, Sat 10 Oct, 1715hrs

Bit of a Meh game....scrappy but job done !! We never really looked under pressure. Thought Whitehouse made an arse of the scrum - was able to nip out have a cup of tea and a KitKat in-between 'bind' and 'set' and it was almost if he was waiting to say set as late as possible so as to ping something...

Re: Leinster V NG Dragons RDS Fri 2nd Oct 20:15

Fun to watch and much to like. JVC super, high tempo and super scrum half work. Ruddock in beast mode, super to see and Ryan, Baird and Keenan all looked great too. Fullback seems to be sorting itself out. Fardy had a good game too with suitable amounts of skullduggery.... For me Ruddock has to be o...

Christ the games can’t start quick enough for you lot to have something else to talk about other than whacky conspiracy theories! 😂 :green clap: :green clap: Therapy after the Sarries loss.......and a coping mechanism for not being allowed into the RDS............. God help the Dragons tonight, cou...

Re: Leinster V NG Dragons RDS Fri 2nd Oct 20:15

I honestly think that side is at just as good as the side that played Saracens, and better in certain areas. I also believe it is a side that would have been better equipped to beat Saracens. The Keenan-Larmour switch should have happened before now. JGP is the form scrum half. Fardy would have giv...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Munster I hear have offered to step into the breach and play Exeter citing de passion and de history, saying this would be the new miracle match.

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

Anything to be said for the organisers expanding further and getting 2 Argie sides set up and based in Spain to join? That would really make my day if that were to happen. It would certainly add the boon of travelling to Spain twice a year in the depths of winter! About as much as there would be to...

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

I adore the rivalry in these islands - just look at the 5/6 nations for the never ending brilliance......of everyone trying to kick seven shades of sh1t out of England....... Rugby is kinda a big thing in these two islands and we are all pretty good at it Much better. My favourite name for them too...

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

Well you may like it but I think the average Leinster supporter would much rather a game in the Durban summer sunshine against the Sharks. Particularly in the depths of Irish winter. South Africa being involved brings considerable TV money and improves the standard of the League. More so than playi...

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

Interesting post !! Would be interested in people's views on 'in an ideal world' what type of league would be the best ???? For me it's pretty simple a league with the best Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English teams knocking seven shades of sh1t out of each other in a two division format with Promo a...

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

Relegation would be a non-starter for a B&I format. Imagine a province got relegated and thus didn't get to play interpros the following season. The English teams wouldn't be long getting annoyed at continually losing to Leinster and Munster if that came to pass. Look at what Munster did away to Gl...

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

Hi lads Munster supporter here. Just interesting in reading the thoughts re the expansion of the league. My own thoughts are this suits the irfu down to the ground. I think while a B&I league sounds good in theory In the longer term they would entirely cannibalise us. Why would any Irish player sta...

Re: Pro 14 2020-2021 season

Will be interesting to see how all this is worked out....... 100% think adding quality teams to the league is a good thing... .but a 12,500 mile round-trip to play a game of rugby.... Personally think its nuts . In case you haven't noticed, the Pro14 has been doing this for a number of years. Super...
