Re: Munster Rugby - Semi Conscious, the Series Finale??? - 2020/21
McElroy, Burns, McCloskey, and Timoney particularly good tonight. Both Scannell's prove yet again they are not Pro14 standard and to think there have been calls recently that Casey and Healy be fasttracked to the Irish squad. Really?

Re: Connacht 2019/20/21
If Boyle carries his current hugely impressive form through Christmas and the interpros, then it will be hard for Farrell to leave him out of the Six Nations squad, especially with Deegan and Conan out of the picture and Rhys Ruddock's face not fitting for whatever reason.

Re: France vs Ireland, 31 Oct - 8pm
Given the grunt imperative, Farrell may actually start with Roux as I would be very worried about a Porter/Beirne scrummaging combo vs that French pack. Beirne could then add a little mobility off the bench later once the physicality markers have been laid down. Franno mightn't like it, but it would...

Couldn't agree more on the lack of an article on the upcoming international squad. Does the Sindo have anything today?

Re: frawley to munster?
Frawley may be going out on loan alright, but I wonder might we have the destination wrong. With Carty soon to spend eight weeks in the Irish set up, Frawley would start for Connacht.

Re: Connacht 2019/20
Connacht may suffer from a lack of quality depth at Out Half, and Second Row - particularly on the tight head side. Of the players released this summer, Godwin will certainly be missed and was probably as influential to Connacht in the last two seasons as Fardy was to Leinster.

Re: Connacht 2019/20
Agreed Godwin and Fainga'a were the two departures which stung with all others being replaceable. Connacht should be delighted with some of the business done with the only obvious shortfalls now being a quality and experienced back up at 10 and a tight head lock to back up Roux.

Connacht in the market for at least one, if not two back three players with Leader possibly on his way to the US. I wonder might Ferg contemplate heading West

Re: Ireland v Wales Sat 2.15
Little chance of Farrell replacing Aki, although I think Henshaw could start 12 with Aki at 13 for this one and Addison before Earls on the bench.

It's six actually, as Munster technically could still finish second in their group. Unlikely, but possible.

Henshaw has never appeared in the Sportsground since his transfer from Connacht. Wonder if there's an unwritten gentleman's agreement on that. We'll know Thursday I suppose.
