Re: Rumour Mill
I think this is the second season in a row that Jack Boyle has been linked with a move away. If I remember correctly, last season he was linked with Exeter. It’s never a good look, especially for a younger player. He’s in the best environment to develop and he will get plenty of minutes with Porter...

Tempting fate there!wixfjord wrote: ↑February 27th, 2024, 10:44 am Don't see Culhane in training photos yesterday which is a shame.
I guess we'll have to make do with just the four experienced top quality backrows to choose from then while our other four experienced top quality backrows stay with Ireland.
Such is life!

Good to see Tommy O’Brien fit and available. Terrific player but incredibly unlucky with injuries.cormac wrote: ↑February 26th, 2024, 2:44 pm Harry Byrne and Jordan Larmour back training with Leinster today. Tommy O’Brien involved too.

Nathan Hines is a born and bred Australian.
I might be mistaken but I think he only moved to Scotland in his early 20’s.

Joe McCarthy is MOTM for me. What a player. Austin Healy comparing McCarthy to a young Eben Etzebeth in commentary. Maybe, but McCarthy reminds me a little bit of a young Sean O’Brien…albeit four inches taller. McCarthy was everywhere today. Carrying, tackling, aggressive, sticking up for his teamma...

Re: RG Snyman to move to Leinster
Article in The Irish Times about Peter O'Mahony becoming a free agent. While we are in the mood for trolling our Southern cousins, this would be an amazing signing. We don't particularly need him, we may not even want him, but the meltdown would be incredible. "With the money freed up by Caela...

Rumours online linking Leinster with Handre Pollard and Damian McKenzie.
Neither seems plausible but then neither did RG Snyman!

Delighted to see Conan perform so well tonight.
I’ve always thought Conan could do a brilliant job at 6 and tonight he was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch.
Even though Conan has played almost exclusively as an 8 I think 6 will play to all his strengths. Chuffed for him.

Forget coaching, Leo should really be approaching Johnny about playing on till May. Drico retired in May 2014. At the time he was asked would he not consider playing till the World Cup 2015, which was 16 months away. Drico replied that it wasn’t only 16 months away but two preseasons away and his bo...

Re: RWC 2023: Ireland
Think it’s time for Ireland and Leinster to play Doris at 8 and fit other players around him. He’s the best 8 in Ireland by some distance. Ireland and Leinster are both better when Doris is at 8. Conan is a very good player but Doris is another step up. He does play at 8 for Ireland. He’s started a...
