Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Ronk: "It’s disappointing that the rugby authorities aren’t doing a better job of protecting the image of the game." Agree wholeheartedly. Players getting in verbal digs at various stages in the game - in particular scrums - is unavoidable. However the public gloating over and denigration of the op...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

What's with the starting brawls over insults and then telling tales about it in the media afterwards. Should really be one or the other. In fairness it ain’t so secret about how sarries players gloat, it’s been regularly picked up on tv. From your comment it would suggest that Exeter are the violat...

Re: Leinster and scrumhalf development

PPE made a few breaks on Friday and Leinster were unphased some of the time if he wasnt immediately at the ruck. Its not the players, its the system. Weighting ref interpretations to give more tap penalty opportunities at age grade level would be one useful step. Yeah, seems like our system is for ...

Re: Leinster V NG Dragons RDS Fri 2nd Oct 20:15

Ruddock should be in the team at 6 every time, especially against the big English and french teams, he gives us that bit of dog in the pack. He just smashes people. Him leavy and dorris the future Leinster backrow imho. In fairness Connors did nothing wrong in the sarries game and if anything follo...

Re: Leinster V NG Dragons RDS Fri 2nd Oct 20:15

Great performance by JGP and Keenan outstanding at Fullback. Team still looking very rusty vs before lockdown, but that’s cause they set the bar so high. Good to see Rhys back. Looks like we will need the full 58 with the amount of injuries tonight. Hilarious that possibly we have lost Johnny (hamme...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Thought it was absolutely hilarious when one of the Saracens players gestured to Owens about time wasting after 78 mins... When they'd spent the previous 77 minutes doing everything they could to stop the game, stop momentum, waste time. Priceless. 160 minutes of no try low risk slowed down rugby. ...

Jaysus that was a poor result. 14-29 FT
We did a complete change in team at halftime and Ulster didn’t.

Plus I thought leavy was due to play in this game? Did he have a setback??

Re: Glass is Full!

The only problem with a full glass is that, There isn't any room for more. Not a problem Theleinsterlad would have I imagine. His glass was either empty after drowning his sorrows on Saturday or he was drowning as the missus emptied over his head. The fact she needed to ask what was wrong reflects ...

Wife asked me on Saturday night why I was so upset and down. I told her I felt like I just had been dumped by the love of my life after Leinster lost. That didn’t go down too well....

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

Love our team, love our style, love supporting Leinster. Today was hard and have took advice from whoever posted to step back from posting until the utter hurt of this loss started to lessen a bit so I can see through less hated eyes. We had a bad 1st half and had too much to do in 2nd. Better team ...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

This is a Munster '09 style defeat. Total hubris and ego coming in after beating inferior sides, but getting the stuffing knocked out by a very capable underdog. We were hoodwinked. Completely disagree. Scrum was the only reason we lost that game today. Fans were worried about playing Saracens. In ...

Re: Leinster v Salarysins

This is gut wrenching, take a while to get over this one especially when we played our game in 2nd half and would have won this game if we had played it in the 1st. Big mistake not playing Kelleher and JGP from the start. Porter is amazing in the open but I think at the highest level is not good eno...

There is no area where we have come close to competency, never mind matching Saracens
Not just that we haven’t made sarries work at all in the 1st. No hard blowing by their pack
