I'd say Brewer is viewing as a short term post as Hadden is "Dead Man Walking".

Re: CONNACHT '08

The League cannot afford to lose another club whether that be the Dragons or Connaught or Glasgow. So from that point of view the timing for the Connaught games against Leinster and Munster for Sunday evenings seems crazy. The League should be activly be seeking to help the struggling clubs through ...

Re: ELV's - ?

Leinsterman, a couple of questions. Are we also going to have the new rules on the new offside at the tackle are and all the resulting free kicks? Also what about no5, the quick throw.....I've seen a S14 game where the winger threw the pass directly to the scrum half when it looked like the lineoutw...

Re: Darcy?

I don't believe it is true. As per Olafs comment, he was at Malahide Rugby Summer camp a month ago. At that point he had already gone through his 2nd operation and was looking forward to returning in the autumn. Said he was track following the 2nd op. So unless something has happen in the meantime, ...

Re: RDS Grandstand

I thought there was only going to be a roof. I didn't realise there was a back to it as well. Should bounce the noise back towards the pitch not to mention blocking the howling gale that ran up the back of the stand where my season tickets were last year. Could have done with it for the Cardiff game...

Re: ML 08/09 Average Attendences

Probabaly put the number closer to 10k for the ML. (4 in Musgrave at 7.5 plus 15 for Leinster Connaught and 3 * 10 )

Re: ML 08/09 Average Attendences

tones, I have 2 edinburger friends (must be a better term than this) and they hated Meadowbank. Big bowl with a running track and no atmosphere (sounds like Murrayfield) but more importantly its the wrong side of town. They also say that various discussions have taken with clubs to use their facilit...

Re: ML 08/09 Average Attendences

Biggest 1 year jump for any club was us in 06/07 which was an increase of 6k and that included a full LR for the last stand. So I can't see Munster getting any where near 15k. If they reach 10k by 09/10, it would be a good result.

ML 08/09 Average Attendences

Call me sad but I've been thinking about the likely Average Attendences for 08/09 attendences. I believe there could be a significant increase in the numbers for most of the teams. You can see the top 6 teams all attracting averages of 10k plus (capacity allowing) in the next 2 years and Edinburgh s...

Re: Magners League Dates???

 I'm keen to see the game but I'm not insane.

In April the Munster game was on at 18:30, persumably to give time to supporters to travel back to Cork/Limerick. Hoefully its the same this year.

Re: Magners League Dates???

I'm especially interested in the Munster game on the 27th Sept. I've got a function that I need to be at at 8pm and I'm struggling to see how I'm going to make it. Of the 5 Sat games last year 1 was at 17:30, 1 at 18:00, 1at 18:30 and 2 at 19:30. Here's praying its on early. You'll recognise me as t...
