Re: Friday's rant
Surely that would tell you the complete opposite? It tells you that democracy works, but that it may not be an entirely efficient way of picking the people to run a country. It's incredibly efficient. Local man with mandate elected by his peers to represent them Nationally (and perhaps on a Europea...

Re: Friday's rant
Ming Flanagan potentially getting elected. He has never earned a days wage in his life and is a parasite on society. Considering the likes of Luke "Ming" and Mick Wallace were elected to the Dail should tell you that sometimes democracy just doesn't work. Surely that would tell you the co...

Playing for the Tahs on SS2 at the moment. I've only seen around 20 minutes but he looks good. Carrying a lot and very effective in the lineout.

Generally a pricey time of the season too. I'm having ...

Re: Second Captains
They have given rugby a huge amount of coverage (more than any other sport) since the new year, whilst the GAA has taken a back seat.
I'd expect that to inverse now over the summer months.
Quality podcast.

Re: Ulster v Leinster 2nd May
Now I'm worried. Looking at those teams on paper we will be clear favourites, even in Ravenhill, but these interpro's rarely work out that way... Favourites and Ulster only need a point. Think Leinster win http://dropkickrugby.com/rugby-betting-tips-premiership-rabo-round-21 Paddy's can't separate ...

Very true - surely an out and out second row with KD's dimensions would be more useful?Dave Cahill wrote:We're not exactly short of back row players though.simonno6 wrote:Is Mumm not the only one of the two who covers backrow?

Re: Heineken Semi Finals
In fairness, Borthwick is a rugby player not the Saracens marketing director. Very disappointing attendance for them though. I wonder if only opening the bottom tier had an impact? I've sat there and the views are dire and fans know they're dire. Bit chicken and egg isn't it. If you aren't going to...

Exactly, because of the way they've blatantly broken the salary cap rules to poach players from every other club, they're pretty much despised Don't be so cynical Donny! Re: Heineken Semi Finals
I came to a very sad conclusion today. Previously if Leinster weren't playing I would support any other Irish side that was. I don't mean that I would just want them to win I mean I would sometime turn up for the match in person and cheer them on as if they were my side. When I couldn't justify buy...
